As a student’s point of view, I love paper tutoring because they help in a lot of subjects AT ANY TIME. For many students, it’s very likely that we stay up past 12 am and have nobody around to help me. Paper Tutoring is available 24 hrs a day which is very convenient. They also revise essays which is helpful because they give you LOTS of feedback. The tutors do not give out answers but they do help you get to the answers. The tutors are VERY patient. I once had a tutor stay for 3 HOURS to help me with my computer science homework. HOWEVER, the only BAD THING I have to say about this app is that it works a lot better on the website than it does on the app. On the app, you cannot end the tutoring sessions on the phone so I have to get on to the website just to end the session which is inconvenient.

Waste of time
I used this app 2 times, and both times I was left disappointed. The first time, I had a small question about a homework problem. It took the tutor over an hour to explain how to do it, after understanding, I could’ve easily figured it out myself. All the tutor pretty much told me was to use a formula. It took her an hour just to say that. The second time was today. I am sick so I don’t know how to do the homework, I checked out paper again hoping they will help. I told the tutor what was going on, and I sent her everything my teacher linked. She made she’ll try solving them herself first. Then she said she hasn’t solved those type’s of problems in a long time so she’ll ask another tutor for. After making me wait 35 minutes, she then said she’ll transfer me to another tutor. When the second tutor came on, I explained them what was going on and linked them everything as well. The second tutor took like 10 minutes to say that they can’t teach “class” here on tutor. The entire second time I used tutor took 45 minutes to basically tel me to figure it out myself. Yay. The first tutor could’ve told me that Paper can’t teach classes instead of making me wait 35 minutes while she “asks a tutor for help on my homework”. I don’t know why my school suggested everyone to use Paper, but I do not recommend it at all.

Do not use this - waste of time!
Please save your time and go get a tutor from school or a better online website! I was introduced to this free tutoring site and was super excited. I have been trying to get help for a casino project for my probability and stats class. I’ve been transferred 6 times in the span of 2 hours. No one knows what finding the probability is for a game. When I click on stats help it has given me 2 English tutors. This site/app is pathetic. Currently on my 7th tutor right now, all I wanted was help for correcting it.

Yet again I got an English tutor and then she transferred me to another English tutor. Do not waste your time with this app or site. Such bull crap and a waste of time. This is the most useless company in human history, a dead pigeon is more helpful then this.

Great app but...
Great app and really helpful for when I have questions for school however, am unable to end the chat between my previous tutor and I to get help in other subjects. I don’t know if this is just my issue or an issue on the app but if you guys can fix it, it would make my experience much better. Thank you!
Love the app but...........,
Unreliable and waste of time
I’ve tried using this app multiple times, anytime I ask a tutor a question they never help! I got left on delivered for over an hour before then she just ended the session without helping me, and I have been waiting for a response for thirty minutes currently. Totally unreliable. My teachers say we have no excuse to not do our homework because of all our “resources” but this is completely unhelpful. I don’t know if the tutors are just terrible or if its a technical issue, but I don't understand why they greet me then never help. They act friendly but this app doesn’t even work??? Makes my homework take way longer than just googling the answers. They talk about how they’re “available 24/7” but I’ve never received assistance even after giving this multiple times.

Technical issues, but great otherwise!
I love paper and it’s really helped me out. But one thing I noticed when I was typing to a tutor my keyboard kept glitching in the app and kept going down making it take forever to write. Other than that minor issue, all the tutors I’ve had so far have been amazing! They’ve helped me understand and improve my school work. I wish though to get that keyboard fixed so it doesn’t keep going down though. It’s a great app though, and I highly recommend it.

Inconvienent to use.
I use this app many times and yes It has helped. The thing is the tutors take 5-10 minutes to reply to your message and repeat this over a course of a few messages then hours can pass. I had to finish a math problem in three or so hours because of that. Also constantly getting transferred when solving a problem is very frustrating. App was a waste of time to use. I’d rather just study myself than ask for help using this app. I use this app while doing other tasks so there’s that because of how long the tutors take to reply It’s not the tutors fault . It’s more or so the technical issue and how the Paper app is designed. From a students point of view this is extremely frustrating.

Deleting this app right now
I would give a 0 star if I could but since one is the lowest I will have to stick with it. First of all, the tutors take at least 9 minutes to respond back and it takes at least 2 + hours just to help me figure out with a simple question. And no the reason the tutors responded back slowly is not because of the internet, it either just takes them a long time to figure it out or their on their phone and ignoring me. This didn’t just happen with one tutor either, this happens multiple times. They would always responded back 9 minutes or more after I gave them my question.

Why can’t I use this app after graduating?!
After graduating high school I got banned from my login! This app was super helpful and I would love to sign up but it doesn’t seem to have this option! It only gives the option to log in! I would love a response please

Why I like and why I don’t like paper
I download it on my phone at home and I couldn’t fine my work or do work that I haven’t done yet but overall it’s pretty good I like how I can talk to real life people and not robots
