On March 31st, 2010 we released an app named Litho Shop which began with the phrase, "No need for Paper!" Litho Shop is a mildly complex app with real paper textures and design tools.
By 2012 we began working on a pure, simple, inclusive app to be the polar opposite, we decided to give it the most basic of names, Paper. The poetry was not accidental. Paper would be the opposite of Litho Shop.
We followed Apple's Rules, that is, we went into our Developer account and created the App "Paper". The name Paper was assigned to us by Apple as NO ONE ELSE was using it. We worked on and submitted the app within Apple's given timeline and guidelines.
While working over many months, as is the norm, other apps with "Paper" in their name came and went. How? Do to glitches in Apple's system. A Developer can add extra words to an un-available name, or game the territory settings to give the illusion of apps of the same name, and even change the name of an older app and enjoy what looks like an earlier first use.
Well, there may still be others around, or maybe they've moved on with another name, either way, welcome to the 1st, and what should be the only, iOS Paper.

I like this app, Paper, because of its simplicity: it provides a quick and easy surface to sketch basic ideas or to finish the drawing, if desired. The choices of paper are unique, colors unlimited and the tools meet my needs...almost. However, switching between tools is a hassle-they load too slowly, and unless I am missing something, where is the blending tool? These are reasons, my review delivers four stars...generous of me.

Mine! Simply put... Have always been creative in a free form kinda way. But when I noticed a teenager using it while a rainstorm blew over to fly back home, I asked what's that you're doing. She showed me and I downloaded it and has been hooked for about 24 months. I've sold copies of my work and have an art exhibit in January at a local library.

I paint on this app every morning! Like a little devotion, I look out the window and echo the colors and shapes. The possibilities seem nearly endless with regards to colors. The brush options are good. I like that I can undo my strokes. The brush tools don't always respond on the first tap, other than that, my new favorite way to relax.

This app is slow to respond to requests to change pen colors, tools and erase. Has crashed and freezes up at times. I'd like to see the ability to change the order of the paper. The last sheet I create is always the first one on the screen, I'd like the ability to move each sheet to the order I want. The full app Paper is a better choice for more detailed needs. I bought this app for quick access and easy use. Updating this review. Still crashes, slow to respond. Frustrating to use. Get Paper 53 and not this app

Woodworking - GOOD and Basic
Let's you get your ideas on paper (recorded on iPad) for future reference. otherwise, my bright ideas go onto paper and I lose track of them. This tool let's you play with the overall design of the look you want.
I have used it for a barrel composter, a under kitchen cabinet bread box with tambour door, and a cantilevered sub-irrigation garden box with useful results I can print.

Just right THERE
At first, I thought this app was too simple! Where was all the fancy stuff?
It's perfect just the way it is. I get up in the morning with lots of ideas. I need a piece of paper. THERE it is. I love it. I don't have to go through a lot of hullabaloo to set anything up. Just choose a paper and start thinking or remembering or creating or doodling. Anytime of day or night!

I applaud the makers of this app for not being like other app makers who cheat & make you pay for individual colors or pay for individual brushes. It's nice that this app has endless color wheel & everything is unlocked, no need to pay any in-app purchases. My only suggestions is to add layers & option to re-size the brushes & add opacity option.

Convenient to use
Love the simplicity of paper, like being able to write my notes especially when having to write directions, or confirmation numbers when on the phone with a representative, instead of having to type them with the keyboard! Much faster. Nice app.

Simple and Great!
Love this app-no more searching around for the scrap paper I made a preliminary sketch on! I use it more often than I thought I would. Would love to be able to re-order already existing pages and categorize them for myself.
