Partners is one of the most popular board games in the Nordic Countries! Now 20 years after the first copy of the board game was released, the app is finally here!
This game is played 2 against 2 and it is all about getting your pieces from your start area to the goal area using the cards you are dealt during the game. However, the game is NOT over when all your pieces are safe in the goal area. Your partner also needs to get all her pieces into the goal area. So as soon as you or your partner reaches the goal area with all your pieces, you have to help your partner finish by using your cards to play with your partner’s pieces. If you and your partner make it before your opponents, you win!
You can play this game online with family and friends, but you do NOT need them in order to be able to play. You can easily play alone offline or include 1, 2 or 3 other persons online and choose to involve one or more of the robot players, that comes with the app. The abilities and temperament of the robot players are unique, so just like with humans, you will discover that some are quite talented and others are not. One of the robots is actually quite unpredictable!

1. Rematch: When a game is completed, you can press "Rematch" on the winner screen to invite the same players to a new game. If several players press the button at the same time, only one game is created.
2. Profile image: You can change your profile image in the app. When you are logged in, tap the Settings button in the upper left corner. You can now change the image or remove it completely.
3. Partner card: The card that you get from your partner in the swapping round, is now placed last in your hand, making it easier to identify it and use it more strategically, especially in the end game.
4. The 7 card: If you are only able to move one piece, the chooser won't be displayed. The piece will move the 7 steps right away.
5. Log in with Apple: You can now use "Log in with Apple" when creating an account and logging into the app.
6. Badge: When you have waiting games and invitations, the red number on your home screen’s Partners icon will inform you about this.
7. The robot players: We have adjusted the robot players' brains, and you may discover that especially Mrs. Wise has learned a thing or two about protecting and attacking pieces. She has also learned that it's okay to open up for her partner once in a while. Robot brain surgery is a "tricky" thing, so Mrs. Wise may still make some strange moves. It takes time for her to adapt to the new possibilities. More brain surgery may be needed in the future.

We introduce open invitations for LIVE games and 48 hours games.

- More notifications are sent out to players that haven't moved yet, so that they are warned about the missing moves
- The robots have become better at swapping cards. This does not apply to Mr. Crazy, though :-)

Idea for an App Update
Love the game and all the functions work perfectly. I would add a chat function within the game so that players can be more interactive with each other. This will make the game more fun and exciting!

My friends and I were so excited to find a way to play partners from a distance. The one thing we wish the app had was an in-game chat. That would make this the best game app I have!
