Patched generates high quality photo mosaics using images from the Photo Library, including those shared in iCloud. iCloud sharing opens up the possibility of a group sourced photo mosaic.
Patched provides fine control over mosaic generation parameters of color variability tolerance, patch shape (including circles, squares, triangles, and hexagons) and patch size. Patches can also be selectively drawn by color. This app can also generate novel fractal-like large patches (see screenshots) to cover portions of the mosaic with less detail.
Mosaics can be be saved to the Photo Library and shared through standard services: copying items to the pasteboard, posting to social media sites, and sending via email or SMS.

Perfect for creating Avatars!
I live in LA and love to show off my beautiful beach pics to my friends on Facebook. Using this app I am able to creating awesome avatars which I use for my main pics on social networking sites. It makes my main pic so much more interesting. I have gotten many likes on Instagram and Facebook!

This App is a piece of junk!! It keeps telling me to load a different target image. I've tried dozens of pictures and it just keeps saying the same thing! Don't waste your time even if it's free! I wasted a dollar when it was on sale and could've made more money selling dog crap in the amount of time I wasted trying to get this to work!!
