pb&jTV Family Hack 1.0.35 + Redeem Codes

This was a great app before the update. Ever since updating to iOS 16, when I turn my phone to go into landscape mode to see the video better, it doesn’t auto correct itself and is all squished to the left hand side and only shows some of the video. I tried deleting the app and redownloading it but that didn’t work either.

My child’s first day of daycare is today. The first time I created my account, the app counted that as a “view”. I am allowed 3 per day.. the second and third time I logged into the app, the app FROZE BOTH TIMES. Customer support reset my views. Went to attempt to see my child on the camera for the first time, and yet AGAIN the app froze and didn’t even show the option of her room. Contacted customer support with a screen shot of this occurrence, it’s been 2 hours and no response. I tried to log in again, and the entire app shut down before anything even loaded yet again. Now I’ve “reached my views” again with only seeing my child ONE time, not even for the full 5 minutes. For the first day of my child being in daycare I am extremely disappointed in the total lack of performance from this app.

I don’t know why there is a login limit at all. If I can only watch a minute or 2 at one time then want to go back to it I should be able to login as many times as I want to until I reach my total minute time limit-and why is there a total minute time limit anyway?! If I want the screen up all day to watch my child I should be able to. So total I probably watched less than 10 minutes but I supposedly get 90 minutes a day but it times you out after 5 minutes anyway. Even spacing all this correctly with 10 logins at the max 5 minutes that’s only 50 minutes not 90. The math doesn’t math. Get rid of login limits and time limits and your star ratings will increase.

This app is a great idea and I love knowing that there are cameras at my child’s daycare even if I’m not watching all day. However, the app has been very frustrating so far. I’m a new user and it is using up my allotted views/visits for the day even if I don’t click into the cameras. I shouldn’t be charged a view just because I opened the app to look at my settings and to request access to an additional camera. There should be an option to access the app without clicking into the camera that doesn’t use up one of your views. Good concept but definitely needs some adjusting—hoping this feedback is taken into consideration by the creators of this app!!

I loved that the daycare I selected had this feature. However, the whole system needs a reboot. You should not be charged a viewing time if you don’t even selected a camera to view. My daughter’s room has two cameras, one of them is offline (the one I currently have access to) and the other (the one I’ve requested access and it either has gone through or been processed) I can’t even view. I know the number of views per day is decided by the facility, but it should only start when a camera is selected. I use a login trying to get technical support which is crazy because that is a chance I can’t check in on my daughter that day.

I don’t know why any daycares would sign up for pb&j tv. You only have a limit of how many times you can login and view your kids. As a mother to two toddlers and putting them in a new daycare.. I get worried and like to check on them constantly throughout the day. Eventually I back off but I never fully 100% trust anyone with my kids and I feel like having a limit to sign on to view your kids is sketchy! We pay for this within our tuition at daycare. I’ve been to the same daycare but different locations (not owned by the same person) but have used their camera system and pb&j tv is by far the most restricted on being able to watch my kiddos.

I paid $30 a month to the daycare expecting a higher quality, less buggy experience but I was wrong. This app is soo slow and buggy, to a point that I have to write a review hoping that the pbj team can make some efforts to improve it.

The quality of the video stays in the last century that you could see pixel by pixel and it’s lagging and constantly show repetitive frames.

The app is buggy and constantly exits by itself. I only have 10 allowances and the bugs costs me waste 3 of them already…

App usually works fine, but the picture quality is less than what you should expect for an app based around streaming. Also, viewing the video on landscape mode using a iPhone X is now broken, since updating to IOS 16. I would have messaged support, but I couldn’t find a contact form on the website.

Personally it’s the time limit for me. What if I wanted to watch ? What if I wanted to know how my kid acts with her teacher and other kids, or how they act with her. Hard to get that within 10 min and every 2 min it ends the session. I understand it’s to give us a break but I’m not okay with just being cut off.

The daycare my kids go to have cameras so parents can check every so often but for some reason decided to switch from one good app to this bad app. It lags a lot and most of the time freezes. It is very frustrating when you are trying to watch your child to see if they are having fun or even eating all the food and the app does not work. Will definitely ask the director why did they change to this app.
