Super fun but kinda cheap lol
I love this game a ton, I used to play it when I was in middle school and recently redownloaded it, it’s super easy and really cute but it feels like one of those “pay to win” games. With certain levels early on, the challenges require items you need to spend gems on, people say you could grind for the gems but the game won’t let you progress until you get a certain amount of stars which means you kinda HAVE to buy gems to progress. Still pretty fun but I don’t like that you have to spend actual money to play past level 10 lol

SUPER fun! Upgrade please!
I LOVE this game!!!!!!! It is more fun then 1 and 2, ( in my opinion anyway) and the characters are SUPER cute!!!! I see what people are saying about the crystals, but it's not THAT bad. You can earn crystals after every level, when you first come into the game, you can watch ads to earn diomonds, and you get a bunch at the beggining of the game. I wouldsuggest, though, that you could be able to buy diomonds with coins, like you can buy coins with diomonds. Also, I think this needs an upgrade because it says that there is this place called penguin city that is "coming soon". Also, i feel like there was supposed to be more resturants on that island thingy then just 3 resturants. So basically, I think you guys need to do an upgrade. Other then that, it is one of my favorite games!! 😍

Super fun, def recommended!
When I first got the game, I had the older version. (The first version) and later on it was like rlly fun I saw the recommendation and I was a lil sketchy but I got it either way. Best idea I’ve had in years! It’s super duper fun and it’s A LOT more detailed than the first version. I definitely recommend getting it. Unlike other people I never really worry about the gems or coins. That might be cause I just got the game but otherwise I don’t really have any bad stuff to talk about the game! It’s so fun so definitely get it if you want a more detailed version of the game. It’s also a bit funner than the other game since you can customize your penguin.

Complete pay-to-win situation
The game is relatively fun, but not nearly as much as the other games. I’m stuck now because I can’t play further because I don’t have enough stars, but that’s because some challenges that will give you the star require that you buy upgrades. However it’s impossible to buy these upgrades if you don’t have enough crystals and you can’t get more crystals because you can’t complete the challenges. You’re essentially stuck in a loop. Problem could be fixed if the upgrades were made cheaper or there was an option to watch ads to gain crystals at any point you want. Some of us don’t have the option to buy more crystals with real money.

Its fun but could be better
I have to agree that this game is cute and fun but it has its problems that I believe if fixed will make it a lot better. One yes the price for upgrades is a bit costly especially since you only get a certain number of crystals only if you complete the challenges of that day. Also there’s no way to go back to the main screen or to the calendar if you select a day you either have to exit out of the app or play that day, you cannot go back. These two issues are frustrated considering that you have to have a certain amount of stars to keep playing otherwise your stuck watching ads for two crystals until you get to the number you need to buy upgrades to do the challenges. It’s time consuming when you just want to play the game.

A pretty good game, would recommend to friends
This is a really cute game, I must say! The animation is so flowing, and not choppy (besides the beaks, but that’s not too bad), the story doesn’t make too much sense, but the gameplay seems to make up for that. I wonder if Penguin City will help with the story any. Besides minor inconveniences, like upgrades being a bit costly, this is a wonderful game that seems to be better made for mobile than PC, which I love! Finally, I can easily play Penguin Diner on mobile :D

This game is so much fun and I love penguins., but how is a person suppose to complete the challenges if you not given the tools to complete them for example the lobster challenge if no one orders the lobster how do you complete the challenge another example the couples, if there’s no couples you can’t complete that challenge either and it’s impossible to serve 5 to 6 drinks in a row most of these challenges are impossible to complete and you can’t move to the next stage because you haven’t earned enough stars which is not told to you but you figure it out. Great game just needs a little tweaking.

Crystals - Pay to Play
As a person who’s loved the penguin diner games since they were a child- I hate to say that this game out of the three is the worst! The upgrades are extremely expensive due to the gems. You don’t even earn that much, and replaying levels doesn’t give you any more. In order to earn gems if you aren’t going to buy any, you have to watch ads. Which I find ridiculous that this is basically a “Pay to Play” game. You need to earn a certain amount of stars in order to play levels to progress, and if you haven’t bought any expensive upgrades yet, you are unable to continue unless you buy gems, or watch a bunch of ads to earn gems. I find this problem ridiculous for a children’s game.

Yay bug fixes! Can’t wait for next map
This made my day when I finally saw an update. I thought it was never gonna get worked on again. This is so nostalgic since the last time I played was a year ago. I can finally get the required items for challenges that needed lots of diamonds without watching ads—I love it!! I’ll definitely stay tuned for the next chapter. Thanks for updating the game!!

Hard to get gems
Early in the game you have to unlock a “lobster dinner” to complete the challenge but it costs 130 gems. you start out with 40 and aren’t nearly close enough to buy it. also as you level up you have to have a certain number of stars to continue, but in order to gain those stars you have to complete the challenges - some cost gems. The game doesn’t tell you this so as you upgrade your diner to get more tips, you don’t have enough gems for the stuff that is required. I had to delete the app and restart bc of this
