Description
Percebe app compares a piano student practice with expert performances and then gives immediate and specific feedback on where to improve, while also grading the student's performance on dynamics (voicing), timing (rhythm and rubato), and notes.
Percebe app features:
- Feedback on expression (dynamics and rubato);
- Percebe finds you. Our app doesn't need a countdown, you simply pick a piece of music out of the Percebe Curriculum, start practicing, and Percebe will find that spot and will evaluate your playing based on the tempo and the portion that you chose to practice. Do you need to master one measure by playing it slower? No problem! Percebe grades you proportionally. So, whether you pick one measure or play the whole song with different tempi (speeds), Percebe will grade you only on the portion you play.
- Percebe has three different levels of evaluation:
a) Peer
b) Teacher
c) College Professor
- The Percebe app is part of the Percebe Piano Method, which includes Instruction books with technique, theory, and repertoire and the Deliberate Practice books, which guide the student's daily practice.
All lessons and practice sessions have video clips available online at www.percebemusic.com and are taught by Dr. Pitagoras Goncalves.
