Disclaimer: Period Tracker period and fertility forecasts may not be accurate and should not be used to prevent unwanted pregnancy. To forecast ovulation Period Tracker calculates 14 days before the projected start date of one's next period. Forecast accuracy depends on a number of factors including how regular one's cycle length is, when one actually ovulates during the cycle, and how many periods have been logged in the app. Anxiety, stress, diet, nutrition, exercise, environment, medications, age and other factors can also affect one's cycle from month to month.

supergirl1,
Tracks much more than just a cycle...
I appreciate P Tracker because it gives me a comprehensive review of past menstrual cycles, and the ability to properly plan ahead for trips and events. I no longer pack or prepare for a trip/event without first glancing ahead at my cycle, which is predicted based on past cycles. I work as a nurse, and encourage all women and girls to keep track of their cycle by using this app.. One can use this app for a snapshot of their overall health, or simply to predict their next start date.
No longer am I fumbling through a calendar counting back, or guessing the first day of my last cycle to provide information. As women, we are properly asked about our cycle at every doctor, dental, and procedure appointment, and this app makes providing that information accurate and efficient. It provides start and stop dates, as well as symptoms; which help keep track of the health of our bodies.
It compiles data entered to show patterns in physical and emotional symptoms prior to, during, and after each cycle. This is a tool that should be taught to women, to help improve the health of all women.
It does so much more than keep track of a menstrual cycle, it also keeps track of other signs and symptoms; frequent headaches, changes in beast health, skin health, emotional and mental health.
Hjc1973,
This app is a life saver!
Ok, so in the past I haven't been the best at keeping up with my period. I wld get busy and forget to mark it on a calendar and wld be left guessing my next start date. I deal with extreme fatigue, depression along with other physical pain due to PMS. Now, with this app, when I start feeling like crap I can pull it up and see wether or not something is wrong or if it's just PMS. I LOVE LOVE LOVE The period countdown in the main screen. I can even use it to plan around that week before! That way I won't make big plans during my normally horrible week of PMS!! I always have my phone nearby and this app so easy to use! If I'm in a rush I can just click the app, tap the "just started period" and it's logged. If I want to go back later and log all of the symptoms (cramps, backaches, fatigue, hurting boobs...lol!!...yes you know what I mean!! ) it's easy to do. It also helps me track the changing symptoms as I age. I'm 45 now, and my body is definitely changing. This helps me keep a record. Not
Just for me, but for my doctors.
For you wanting to have more kids you track ovulation and so on. It's so much more that just a period tracker. It's been a life saver for me!! Thank you to developers of
This app!!!! 👍👍👏👏🥇🤗😊
darkdoomhoney,
Used & loved for years... but native notifications are useless.
This tracker is my tried and true favorite. I’ve been using it for years and it has helped me keep better note of my periods and any oddities in my cycle(s), etc. But I do have to complain about one thing: an annoying glitch with the native notifications.

There are notifications from the native app, and then there are unique notifications one can set up for their own situation. For example, I set up two unique notifications to go off at 9 and 9:30 p.m. every night as a friendly reminder to take my birth control. These push notifications never fail, and they can be super useful for any sort of responsibility that requires constant attention i.e. a medicine, pill or activity. But then the app’s native notifications - which tell you when you’re X days away from ovulation or X days away from your “fertile” window - literally NEVER show up. When do they arrive? On the odd day that you decide to open the app. I personally just use the app to track my period and symptoms - so pretty much for 5-7 days out of the month. Then when it’s time to use it again, my phone freaks out and gets all of those native notifications at once, as if the app takes it as, “Well, better late than never.” It’s frustrating and I wish this glitch would get fixed.
*daydream~believer*,
Great All Around Period / Cycle Tracker
This is a great all around app to track your period. I have severe endometriosis, which means I try to track my symptoms. I’ve tried other apps — even those made for endo — yet I always come back to this one. I can add my own weirds endo symptoms to track, but still super convenient & easy to use. I like the concept of the social link/section. *Only* wish is that you guys would add a “birth control” mode. Since I tend to use hormonal birth control pills to help keep my endo at bay when I absolutely have to, it seems to confuse the app when I have a random 167 day cycle occasionally, because I try to skip my period when I can’t rearrange my schedule around my period. I’m sure there are plenty other women who use this app & have the same wish (it could actually work as a pregnancy miscarriage setting. There’s a pregnancy setting, but nothing if you miscarried, which is very common especially with fertility treatments & did at one point find myself wishing there could be a way to track a pregnancy that did *not* make it to term.
I’m short: Great app. Please add “birth control pill mode”
Alice_and_Peter,
BEEN USING FOR 5+ YRS!
I’ve been using this app for over 5yrs now & I absolutely love it. Super easy to use! I haven’t been on birth control for 9yrs and this app (along with condoms of course) has helped me not get pregnant. I can see when I’m ovulating & therefore know that a condom is a MUST. I’m married and our daughter is 8 - it’s nice to know which days of the month are safer for us to forego the condom all together without being super worried about ending up pregnant. It’s also nice to know when my period is expected to come - in case I do need a pregnancy test! It keeps me from worrying to stressing prematurely about possibly being pregnant. When I DO plan on getting pregnant again, it will be great to use this app so I can see when I AM ovulating and use that to my advantage. Also to know when I’ve actually skipped a period. I’ve gotten to know so much about my cycle and my body 100% bc of this app. Just a fantastic app overall! I couldn’t live without it!
DelilahMansour,
Reliable, affordable
I've had this app for about 5 years. Its assisted me to chart an irregular cycle, keep notes for reference on previous pregnancy losses and kept me informed on my current pregnancy which is going to term! I always recommend this app to anyone of childbearing age because you can keep track of when you spot, your period begins, your period ends, how long your cycle is, when you ovulate and any symptoms you have. It also charts your weight, how many steps you take and even some details of lovemaking (for TTC, of course 😎) It has both an absence mode, TTC mode and pregnancy mode. Pregnancy mode has been helpful because it provides an estimated due date, a countdown on how far along you are and a weekly update on where you're at in the pregnancy.
Another thing I love about it is that, although its a little less fancy than apps like, The Bump, its not full of ads or articles pushing products.
One improvement could be a photo album to track your bump weekly and a baby registry checklist and hospital packing check list which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Overall a great app and worth paying for!
Elisheva423,
Belittled and harassed if you’re not ‘open minded’
I’ve had this app for years. I love the period tracker and all of the options. I later realized that PT tracker also has a social media side to it. It was nice at first. You get to speak to other women about life, kids, careers, etc. I’ve made some amazing friends there. But then there’s the harassments : / We live in a world we’re everyone is different and that’s ok. But on this app if you aren’t ‘open minded’, you get belittled and you get called names. There are guidelines on this app which I like...but they are never enforced. I’ve stayed in the past because of the friends that I’ve made but the negative now overshadows the good. My nieces were looking for a period app and I told them to stay away from this app. This isn’t the kind of stuff young ladies should be putting up with ESPECIALLY is you have Christian views. The sex talk is beyond insane and little girls don’t shouldn’t be exposed to that but on this app they are. Is the app itself a great tool for period tracking, yes. But the social side has gone down hill and unless your part of the ‘in crowd, trouble making group’ it’s just mentally draining and many amazing women have left the app because of it.
SLE1996,
Great for its intended purpose!
I’ve been using this app faithfully since Sept. 2015, and it has definitely served its purpose perfectly. Because I’ve been using it so long, it’s very good at predicting my cycles, etc.

My husband and I were trying to conceive last year, and we got pregnant on our first month of trying! This app was very accurate on my ovulation dates. Once again, it is probably because it has almost 5 years of data! I don’t use it for tracking my symptoms or anything like that, but I can always tell my doctor exactly when my last period was! Lol.

The only reason I’m giving this app 4 stars is because after I switched it off from pregnancy mode when my daughter was born in Feb 2020, it has been very buggy. I cannot choose the date my period started, and it seems a little broken. I hate to delete it and restart considering all of the history. But it’s definitely not as functional at the moment. I am hoping the developers fix it.
jdf03,
Great but needs a new design
I’ve had the deluxe version of this app for SEVERAL years now, and I love it a ton. I love how predictable it is for my cycles and how easy it is to edit compared to other apps. The only thing I do not like about this app is the very outdated home screen themes. They’re way too busy and look like something a pre-teen would enjoy. A year ago there was an update for a sleeker calendar, but I don’t think there’s been a big update since then. The themes have not changed since I started using this app 5 years ago. Please consider a more updated, minimalist, clean design like the other period tracker apps out there and this app would be PERFECT. 👍🏼
.
My original post from a year ago:
I've been using this little period tracker for about four years now, and I absolutely love it. I love the new simple design in the calendar; but I wish we could choose a simpler, more minimalistic design for the home screen to match the new calendar. The "appearance" options are outdated and too busy. That's my only suggestion! Love the app otherwise ☺️
KMT3535,
Tracking periods, pregnancy but not inclusive.
I use this app often, I tracked my periods for nearly three years while trying to conceive and now my pregnancy. It’s easy to use and I enjoy the weekly notes while pregnant. I like that you can have a back-up of your info as well.
I do have to say it’s disappointing that the wording isn’t more inclusive of various types of families that don’t have a mom and dad. My wife and I (two-mom family) are expecting our first. It would be better if the “for the dad” section was more inclusive “significant other tips” or “parenting partner info”. Another way to alleviate this problem would be upon registration to note what type of family you have so info can be personalized (single parent, two moms, two dads, mom/dad, parents who identify as transgender, or would rather use a pronoun such as “they” vs he/she). This could be easily created through an algorithm. I recommend the app but the creators need to provide a more inclusive app for all individuals/families especially for the pregnancy piece.
