Pet Animator offers free trials, which auto-enrol into the selected subscription if not cancelled during the free trial period. Any unused portion of free trial periods, if offered, will be forfeited if you start a new subscription before the completion of your trial. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes account settings but refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

I am an obsessive Pug mom - I treat my Pug like a spoiled little girl - consequently I overshare photos with family and friends. This app is the one time that I have gotten 100% positive feedback and complete amusement (even hysterical laughter) from those family and friends when sharing Pug videos. Instead of sending videos that probably do not even get watched I get requests to make her sing a song or say something in particular. The best video was my sweet Pug ‘singing’ “Get Low” with an angel’s voice for a friend today. Also great for sending the Happy Birthday song! Christmas carols will be a blast at the end of the year! Everyone with a dog has asked me to do their dog for them. It is addictive and laugh out loud funny. A Pug is the perfect shaped face and head for this app. I’ve done some videos for family that have dogs with snouts instead of squishy flat faces and the mouth is a bit more difficult. Ideal for flat faced breeds and I image, cats as well. I wish it had an option for two or more dogs in the same video. Maybe they will add that eventually. It was simple and I made the first video within about two minutes of downloading app. The best $3 bucks I’ve ever spent in an app!

Tha absolute best app ever!
My dog, Cooper the Keeshond is a 1+ year old rescue boy who has his own FB page. He has been online since he was a 15 week old pup. He has a worldwide following and now does a daily joke segment, The Fast and the Funniest with Cooper the Keeshond. We are so very happy the developers brought back the pitch slider as Cooper's voice changed and his worldwide followers thought he was sick. Lol!
This app is top notch, and the developers are awesome and truly dedicated to keeping it perfect. I contacted them about the detriment to the app on removing the pitch control, and they responded with a very personal email. In just a few short days, as they promised, the pitch is back and better these ever.

Important things you should know
I absolutely love this app and I think it’s perfect for all pet owners, but I have one complaint and I think you (the designers of the app) should get rid of. I got the update a while back that gives you “example” things for your pet to say by tapping on its face. The audio of a random person saying a popular phrase will play. I liked it because of the Star Wars quotes that my hamster was saying. But I played some random ones and I started noticing what they were saying in them. They use really bad language for kids! I don’t want to specifically list them because I obviously don’t like curse words, and because some kids read these reviews. I’m really upset because I love this app so much! Please remove the phrases with curse words in them immediately! Or at least remove the curses from the phrase and replace them with a better word. I still personally rank this app number one “Pet video maker” and recommend this to friends. Thank you for reading this review, I hope this helps other people out there who need information about this app before purchasing. 🐹🐶🐱

I have liked this since the beginning.
I must say I LOVED it when it was the “PONG” of photo apps. Every niece, nephew, son and daughter becomes a film maker and sometimes a film star and they learn cause and effect while laughing and thinking. The new whistles and bells are perfect. I get where a previous reviewer who hated all the “improvements” is coming from, but you can opt out on most of the new motion dots and still have good old My Talking Pong to use whenever you want. Its like knowing Photoshop has layers tools you might never use, you can still use the app. Never wrote a review before. Sorry if its long-winded. Kids love it. They love showing you their work, its a portal you can use to tap into your own individual creative ideas. What can I say? 5 Stars

A great experience with MyTalkingPet
I am a pet sitter and take Dogs into my home to extended periods of time where their families are on short or a very long trips. I have several that I get for a month or so every year. I try to send them some pictures every day so that they will feel in touch with their pets while they are gone and, also so that they can see what their bed is doing. I throw A MyTalkingPet into the mix at least once a week. It provides some comical relieve! Where as I love my two girls, I get sick of just seem plain old pictures. Throwing in a video or a MyTalkingPet video makes the owners happy, And I get a kick out of making them! For a free app, this is the best one out there! Very easy to use, highly recommend!

Love love love
This is the best money I have ever spent on an app. And I don’t buy many but so glad I got this one . I am having so much fun making videos of my little dog pepper. This app works great and is definitely worth the low price. It even works on people. Can’t tell you how much fun I’m having with that. Lol. Don’t hesitate to purchase this one!
One additional thought: perhaps this may get too complicated but is it possible in a future update to have two subjects in a picture and have them conversing or responding to a comment the other made? Perhaps with two sets of tools to set eyes nose etc and two recording tools?? This app is so wonderful and works so well but maybe you can explore the idea?

Uh oh
This newest update isn't working well for me. Lots of little things- one time you create the video, the voice sounds one way. Play it back later, another. I used a tree picture to alter because it had shadows on the tree that made it look like a face. I went to put a hat on it, and the top of the app cut off most of the hat. Couldn't lower the hat or readjust it, either, because the app automatically places it for you. So I replaced it with a bow. An the mustache... the app automatically places that for you, too. So I removed it. I suspect if I moved the dots for where the eyes, forehead, etc were located, that it would automatically relocate the hat or mustache, but then the mouth n such would be out of place. Not so much fun anymore... sorry...

Recent Update Ruined the App
I absolutely loved this app and used it almost everyday. I would’ve given it a 10/5 star rating had I could, but now I can’t see myself using it anymore. I opened the app this morning to create another talking video of my Pomeranian Lewie to send to nephews and nieces. However, instead of the normal app that I’m used to, it opens up and looks very different. To cut to the chase, they added a few new features but took away the most important one: the ability to tune your animals pitch up or down to what ever pitch you prefer! Now there’s only a few custom pitches to choose from and they sound horrible. Anyways, I needed to voice my disappointment with this new update in the hopes they would fix this glaring issue moving forward. Developers, bring back the old system of changing your dogs voice and pitch!

Loved this app in the past
I have used and thoroughly enjoyed this paid app in the past, but today found that the format has changed so that I can no longer adjust the voice as I want and then found, to my dismay, that my photo began cursing at me! Very very unhappy customer here...will not recommend this to anyone in the future.
This is an update😔- I had a nice email from you following my initial complaint, in which you stated that you have addressed the areas of concern, but as I open the app again, I find that your “sample” photo speaks in awful ways that I would never do. I am extremely disappointed as I had recommended this app to a number of friends who got it for their children, I would NEVER have suggested it if I had known you were going to change it like you have. I am deleting it immediately and am sorry tyat I ever sent you any of my money.

Do you even test your updates?
Every update seems to reduce the functionality of this originally wonderful app. For starters, you need to have an option to select a specific photo album or it can take forever to scroll through to find an older photo if you have a lot of pictures on your camera roll.
Another problem is trying to move the dots to the parts of the face, the magnification shows off the screen, so you have to guess where things are, either get rid of the magnification, or fix it.
Also, the play button shows in the middle of the picture, totally obscuring how it looks in most cases, when you are trying to decide if you want to add the glasses or the hat or other fun features.
But really, I am just sick of having to learn a whole new app practically every other time I open it up to use it lately.
