The App provides a ready-reference to the rules, explanatory notes and drawings by Paul Elvstrøm, and reference to the relevant World Sailing interpretations 'Cases'. Its aim is to help competitors and officials alike to learn the Rules easily, to understand them, and to apply them correctly. Written by a sailor for sailors.
Paul Elvstrøm has participated in 8 Olympic games and won 4 Olympic Gold Medals. He has also won 15 World Championships in 8 different classes and numerous regional championships. He has had a massive impact on the sport of sailing for more than 50 years with innovative ideas on; rules, training, tactics, gear, race formats etc.
In the App each rule has 1-3 sections; World Sailing Rules, Paul Elvstrøm Explains, World Sailing Cases, that easily collects all relevant material under the specified official rule. The app also contains a Search function, a Fast Find Diagram, a quick overview of Race Flag Signals, a Mark as favorite and links to relevant online material.
