First, decide whether you want to select the individual photos to show (1) or just choose an existing album from your photo library (2).

■ Limitation
If you make two or more widgets of the same size where all of them are set to show all the photos or the same album, they will show photos in the same order. This is a limitation in the iOS widget system. You can work around this by giving the widgets unique names in the widget configuration.
■ Tip
If you have a widget that cycles between photos and you want to force it to skip to the next photo, long-press the widget, select “Edit Widget”, and then close the edit view. The widget should now have a new photo.

Unexpectedly awesome app!
Where do I begin? This app is simply fantastic. When you first open the app you are greeted with a miniature, optional tutorial on how to setup a photo for your widget. The guide for setting up widgets with this app is very simple to follow for those unaware with the process. Adding images is super easy and changing/creating new photo widgets is a breeze. On top of having amazing simplicity and elegance enclosed within such a minimalistic app, unlike other, similar apps, the developer has made it so that no data is collected from the app, which makes the experience of this app that much better. And to add a cherry to the top of the Ice Cream Sundae that is this app, the developer kindly offers this app free with no ads. Definitely a must have app if you want to display your favorite photos on your Home Screen!

Any chance?
Would be nice if you could delete the images from your photos, and the app would retain the image to cycle through the widget. There is another photo widget app that does this, however overall this app is better in quality. This is the BEST photo album widget app in the Apple Store. It works as intended and there are frequent updates. I think I have tried all the apps and by far this is the best!!

You can run shortcuts
Is the app I was looking for, it’s easy and simple and it can run shortcuts. I just would like that it doesn’t open the app by itself and then open shortcuts , it will be nice to do this process on the background. Anyway I think it’s because apple’s limitations, and maybe it can be correct in the future. Anyway, this app is awesome 👏🏽

Amazing photo album display widget
This app displays multiple photo album widgets perfectly. Instead of crop, is there a way to blur the image background so there is no black borders around the photo. Also a delete option would be nice. Ive seen this done on a subpar photo widget app in the past. Regardless this is the best photo widget app out there!

What the Photo Widget Should Be
This app is 100% what you’re looking for. It’s what you should be able to do native in the Photos app. You select your photos, you choose the size, and it rotates through them. No matter Apple thinking it knows what photos you want to look at.

What the IOS photo widget should have been
I can’t imagine that selecting a specific album to display would be that novel of an idea, but apparently Apple decided to tell you what photos you like best 🙄. This app puts you in control. Thank you!

Would give 4.5 out of 5 if I could
I really like this app. It’s simple and easy to use. I also like that the privacy policy states that personal data is not collected from users. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that I would like the ability to adjust how the image fits within the widget frame; however, this is minimal.

Many establishments are asking for proof of vaccination here, so I use this to quickly have my vaccine card ready to show in one tap. Saves a little time vs opening photos to find it. Works perfectly and no ads!
