Early impressions
Received my Photofast EVO as gift and decided to share early impressions. The user interface seems clean. Slide to view options and tap. The included intro video, showing an iPhone is good I think. Always difficult to view small pictures and needing to observe details. I used the app to copy photos from iPad to transfer and copy to my PC. The one thing that I don't like, photos and videos that are loaded loose their original properties. Date/time taken are wiped clean and replaced with current date/time. I organize my photos by date so I had to jump back and forth between iPad, PC and photofast to file the photos with the taken date.

Plug and play
Very easy to setup and they are regularly updating the app which says to me that they believe in the product. I have a 32gb EVO. I downloaded the ONE app, plugged it into my iphone and the app walked me through a brief guided tutorial. I'm initially just using this to watch about a TB of mp4/avi movies. The other reviewer that said it changes the date of when the photo or movie was transferred, it transfers with original date onto the external drive, however if you transfer the files off the external drive and onto the app itself then it will change it to today's date. The other in-app issue is it doesn't allow you to have files within a file, but you can have as many files within files on the external drive. The app is pretty impressive. It's quite comprehensive. Way beyond my expectations thus far. Will update this review in a few weeks or so.

No Technical Support - April 5, 2017
If you decide to use the external drive security you must enter your personal contact information to be able to retrieve your password. The problem is there is no way to change or reset this information. The only way to contact anyone for help is to file a bug report which I have done many times on this problem. No one ever replies back and after 8 updates in the past 5 months the problem has not been fixed. This company is not responsive to your problems and appears not to care.
The app works well but it has bugs which I have reported for this version 1.7.9 and the previous version 1.7.8, 1.7.6, 1.7.5, 1.7.4, 1.7.3, and 1.7.2; which no one has contacted me about or fixed. When going to their website there is no way to get technical support. The only way to contact them is by using the bug report and then it is like talking to the wall, they never reply.

Works Great on my iPhone 6
Since I don't have any room on my iPhone for music - this works great. Only complaint I have is that when playing music from a folder it does not stop after all songs are played no matter what mode you use. If this option was included I would be completely satisfied.

Does not work on my iPhone 8 Plus
I downloaded this application onto my iPhone 8 Plus, which is the companion software to the PhotoFast 4KiReader Flash Memory Card Reader Product Capacity: 256 Model. I have not been able to use these products on my iPhone 8 plus because I keep getting the error message:
“This iPhone’s power output is unstable, writing to the external memory has been disabled to prevent damage to the file system” therefore I am unable to store data to the memory cards. I’ve reported this to the company 5 time since I’ve discovered this with absolutely no indication that they are aware of this or looking into it. I contacted Apple and they say there is nothing wrong with my iPhone 8 Plus. I also tried these on 4 other friends iPhone 8 plus phones and they all get the same error message.

Great app and flash drive!
You have to buy a PhotoFast external flash drive to go with this app; I have the EVO model. It works great! I use it when travelling to free up space on my iPhone, because I take a LOT of photos. The app works perfectly and so does the flash drive.
My only request is to improve handling of RAW files; it does work, but not as well as with jpegs.
Email support is good: I emailed them some questions and heard back quickly and in detail.

Issue Saving Videos and Pictures
I am using the small Micro SD to iOS adapter and i can copy and save the picture to the camera roll but when i try doing videos it acts like it is doing it, then when done the video is not there.
I originally tried this with the non 360 degree photo fast app as well and when i tried to do anything there (such as watching a vido) it just crashes the app.
This was done on a standard iPad mini 4 (running latet ios 10.3.1) with nothing but just iOS and the DJI apps along with the photofast app.
Because the program works mostly i gave it a 3. Once the coping of videos and crashes are fixed i will give it a much higher rating. It may work differently on the air, air2 and pro - will have to try it out.

previously I could not use this application for the latest IOS on device 7 and above because it always fails when authenticating data. thanks for the repair by activating bluetooth on the device automatically

Amazing product terrible app
The app is ridiculous, every time I launch the app i say goodbye to most if my memory. Last time it accumulated 5.1gb of my phone. Sent messages to the developers and they didn't even care. Why even use flash memory when it's serves as a black hole for phone memory? Don't buy the product until they fix this mistake. And oh you can't open unsupported video files in other players also. Buy a bigger memory phone /tablet thats better.

Crashes like crazy
The app was found to highly unreliable. If it did manage to play a song, it crashed or froze either halfway or when it ended and app had to be restarted every time. Takes a lot of time to connect to iPhone. Given the crashes, the whole user experience is a time consuming hassle. The interface is ancient, so unlike a iOS app and has an amateurish feel to it. Needs lots of improvements.
