PhoTop is a image utility app. It could help you in many ways:
1. Quickly check image size.
- Browse all images and see the size of each image just below the thumbnail. Different colors indicate different sizes, for example: images larger than 5M are marked in red.
- Check Live Photo's Size
A Live Photo is composed of 2 parts: an photo, and a video. PhoTop shows you both the photo size and the video size, so that you will have a better idea how your storage is used.

4. Resize & Compress image.

Fails...
I was about to buy pro version but when I tried to sort photos by colors it crashes. Avoid this one until they fix it. Good idea but simply does not work...

A lot of image sizes are estimated incorrectly
I saw that this app sorted all images by size, and I was very excited to use it to free up storage on my iPhone. I even purchased the pro version because it had great reviews. But when I scroll through my images, I see that a lot of them are shown as 0 bytes. Then I click on them, and then they are actually much bigger than 0 bytes. Sorting by size does not help, the "0 byte" images are not shown as their true size. If you want to find the true size of an image, you have to click on it individually. This app is awesome for compressing images, but not for sorting them by size. I will upgrade my review to 5 stars when this is fixed. This is a very important feature.

Not easy to figure out
I spent way too much time trying to learn how to use this app, and even then, I only successfully got info on 215 photos. There are no instructions. The app is not intuitive enough so you can add more photos to your selection. Maybe a “select more photos” button would be a good idea. It’s a good idea, but having to manually select each photo to check is pretty useless when you have 7,000 photos and are using this app to find the ones to delete. Not buying the pro version until this is sorted out.

This is invaluable and has no close competitor
I routinely keep over 20,000 photos on my iPhone and iPad.
iCloud can stall if the largest photos are not compressed or deleted on devices and this app gives me an easy way to sort by size and compress large images.
No other tool I found handles these simple tasks I needed as easily as this app does.

sort by file size!
it actually lets you sort by photo size!! Thank you! PSA when it sorts it does by total size even though on the thumbnail it shows still photo size. It confused me at first bc it looked out of order, but then I realized it was combining still photo + live photo size for the real amount of space taken up. Amazing! Thank you for this app!

Disappointed
Can’t do multiple selections. One by one. Does not size-sort video, only pics. Can’t get refresh button to work (on iphone version). Mysterious why Apple does not give sort-by-size functionality (conflict of intetest re: iCloud storage biz?). Had hoped this app would be better. On lookout for future iterations if improved would be killer.

Many times I download images and they become too large. I next download a smaller version. Now I have 2 pix- alike but one is lager - yet no way to see this.

Has potential but has one big issue
I’m running out of space because of small Instagram reposted images that get dumped into my photo stream. I bought Pro and have 10,000 small images.
No select all even with Pro?? Even if I had the 100hrs to select 10,000 images one by one manually my thumbs would be stubs before then.
Feature request. Have a select 1000 button that double confirms on delete. This app is completely useless unless something like this is added and I would like a refund.
