PhotoTiling is an app that enables you to crop your photos into multiple squares (tiles), then arrange them on your Instagram profile page to create Banners and Photo Grids. PhotoTiling not only enables you to easily and quickly make banners, but also provides you the maximum flexibility to tile your photos into any grid pattern you want. Besides uploading to Instagram, you can also save your Banner/PhotoGrid as a single photo.
** Features :
1. Load multiple photos, crop your input photos into multiple squares, then arrange and post them on Instagram as banner or any grid pattern you want. (see Screenshot 1,2,5),
2. Add tags, captions, and comments to the cropped photos within the app, and you can copy the tags to all other cropped photos with just one button tap (see Screenshot 3).
3. The UI is optimized for you to quickly and easily make banners. The "Fit" function can automatically fit your loaded photo into the squares you have selected.
4. Upload the cropped photos to Instagram in the correct order from within the app. The app will track which cropped photos have been uploaded so that you won't forget what should be the next one to upload (see Screenshot 4,5)
5. You can also save the cropped photos to your camera roll, then upload them later in Instagram.
6. You can save the created Banner/PhotoGrid as one single photo to Camera Roll.
** Tips:
1. To make large banners (e.g. 4x3 banner), you can use two-finger tap to quickly select multiple squares.
2. You can use the "Fit" function to quickly fit your loaded photo into the squares that you have selected.
3. Use "Save Grid" function to save the created Banner/PhotoGrid as one single photo to Camera Roll.
** Note:
1. Due to the constraints of Instagram API, currently you can only upload the cropped photos one at a time during "upload".
2. The tags or comments added within the app are only effective when you use the "upload" function. If you use the "save Tiles" function and use Instagram to upload from camera roll, you can only add tags within the Instagram app.

1. Per the requests from many users asking for the function of saving the Banner/PhotoGrid as one photo to Camera Roll, we have changed the "Save" function on the "Export" page to "Save Grid" function, which will save the created photo grid as one photo (you can go to @InstaTiling on Instagram to see some samples). We would be very appreciated if the users who requested this function can re-evaluate our app and help us rate/re-rate the app on the App Store.
2. Added hint message to the default comments of the uploaded photos so that your IG followers will be hinted to see your profile for the complete banners or grids.
Note: some users requested the "batch upload" function to upload the whole sequence of tiles to Instagram all together. Unfortunately, we are unable to implement this function because "Batch upload" function is not supported by Instagram API (because they don't wanna jam the upload traffic). We certainly will implement it in the future if Instagram would open up such API in the future.

1. Multi-touch square selection: now you can use two-finger tap to quickly select multiple squares. This is extremely useful for making large banners. In the previous version, you can only tap one square at a time to make large grids for making large banners.
2. The "Fit" function: this new function (by clicking the "Fit" button) will automatically fit your loaded photo into the squares you have selected. This is especially useful when you only choose one square to put in your photo. It's also very useful for making large banners.

Great, but one request
Very cool and easy to use app, but please update so that you can have an option to hide the grid on your final picture. For ex, if I use 4 tiles for one picture it would be nice to not have it chopped up with the white lines.

Fantastic product. Unfortunately ios8 messed you up. Photos only load into IG from the useless "Recently Added" album which for whatever reason doesn't store in order. So loading photos in reverse simply doesn't work. Not your fault but perhaps you could manage a fix. Thank you for a wonderful app.

I love this app
I been using this app for a years, but recently the app keeps saying: please install Instagram, when it already installed. I deleted the open and reinstalled and still didn’t work for me any more.

Awesome, but needs update
Short of not carrying over picture comments/hashtags from the app to Instagram after the recent update (Instagram adding sexting), this app has been flawless!! Hoping for an update :)

The photos line up perfectly. The auto comment feature is my only gripe. Easy enough to delete, but a bit annoying

Not worth the $
I bought this thinking I could make those cool pictures like on insta but it registers it with lines in the middle so you can’t swipe to the in between to see the two coming together as it takes a gap out. And the quality is just really bad, the photos were a lot blurrier after.

App makes doing multi tile posts easy. Up to 12 tiles 3x4 and any mix of that. 2tall or 3 tall

I find the grids especially helpful in dimensioning portrait paintings. Would very much appreciate even larger grids - say up to 6x6.

First use is last use. You're in trouble when apple notifies you that this app will slow your phone down because the developer needs to make it compatible ......and.........it's...............even..........................worse...........................than......................you....................imagined. It never worked. Next time, Apple, tell me before I confirm purchase please.

I want a grid of 25 images and it is not provided here, but the opportunity to request that is also not an option as far as I can tell. App is not of practical use for an independent creative.
