Each day you get a notification at a random, unexpected moment,
You have 5 seconds to take your daily photo and you can add a caption and location to each photo.
In addition to the unexpected photo, you also have the option of 1 extra photo per day where it's you who determines the moment.
This way you create a unique collection of your everyday life.
Starting with 48 photos you can easily preview and order your photo book via the app.

Find out yourself how nice it is to keep a photo diary and print it in a beautiful and original designed photo book!
You can keep your photos private or publish them anonymously and only for a brief moment to other PYM users for inspiration. You can determine this per photo.
Of course you can also easily share your PYM photos with others outside the PYM-app.
Share an album.
Apart from your own personal album you can also make an (extra) album together .Just invite your 'nearest and dearest' by sending a PYMvite via WhatsApp, mail, Telegram, sms, etc.
That way, you can share a photo album and your invites can also add PYM photos to it.
Each PYMvite can decide for which photos are printed, so everyone makes their own unique version of the PYM book.
An if you decide to leave a PYM album......., you automatically take all your previously shared photos with you!

Love the idea, but the app can improve
I love the idea of this app, and I use it everyday! There are some flaws, though. I wish there were a way to click on a photo and scroll through all of them. Also, I dislike the whole counting down thing when you take a photo and it takes it itself. I think after the animation, it should go automatically to a camera, but you can click a button when you want to take it. Additionally, I recommend adding different filters and ways of editing the photo. I absolutely love the idea, though!

Stops notifying
App worked great for a month or so, and then it randomly stopped notifying me. I have to delete & reinstall the app every couple of days for it to give me the notification. I also wish you could retake photos, because sometimes it comes out blurry or bad and it doesn’t let me take it again. But my main concern is that it is weird about notifying, and I don’t want to have to keep installing the app to try to get it to work.

No reminders - AGAIN. Time for a refund
What for seems the tenth time, this app has stopped sending me notifications. I write to them and get the same canned response many reviewers have gotten - are you in low power mode? NO! Have you cleared your cache? YES. Do you have too many apps open? NO.
Here’s the thing. I have MANY other apps that send me notifications - without fail. This one fails constantly, more and more lately.
I am on vacation. I missed two weeks of notifications until I realized I was not getting them.
I want a refund. This app is not doing what it is supposed to do. I should not have to remember myself to take a random photo. That is what my camera is for. This app is supposed to remind to randomly take a photo. If I have to do the remembering, this app is pointless.
FIX IT OR REFUND MY MONEY. It is that simple.

Love the idea and the app!
I love this idea. I got a booklet a couple of years ago and it’s one of my favorite memories. Starting again with the app this year. The team is also super responsive when you contact them with questions or feedback.

disappointed
i am very disappointed in this app. i took a photo everyday but when a year went by, it wouldn’t show the photo. i was expecting it to show you the picture that you took one year ago that day. also, you have to wait until a specific time to take the picture. when it’s finally ready to take the picture, it’s night. i really wish you could start to take the picture earlier. don’t waste your time on this app.

i’ve been using this app for five years and love it but i don’t get notifications from it anymore, even though i have them turned on for the app in my settings. also, sometimes the app will crash and not allow me to take a picture that day.

love this but I request a fix
I love love love this app I downloaded it January 1st 2015 and I've done my best to take a picture every day and around may or June 2015 I decided i would use the comment section to journal my day and sometimes a lot goes on in my day and it would take up a lot of room and so I would be able to scroll and read ALL of what I wrote but I noticed after keeping up with the updates that I can't do that anymore when I click to read old captions it just cuts off what I wrote at the beginning so I know it's like a needle in a haystack to fix this one small request when most people don't even use the caption area but I would appreciate it so I can look back on old memories and reflect my past because that IS what the app is about after all:) thank you!! -regards j

Yes. Just, yes.
I started using this app with the final book in mind. When it came time to order it, my expectations were absolutely exceeded. (Make sure you connect to a Facebook account so you don't have a problem with updating or switching phones). This app is easy to use and has a cute quote/animation each day. When it's time to order the book, if you're ordering internationally they give clear directions on how to. The book not only shipped quickly but had great quality. Love these guys, already looking forward to my "2016 for thought".

Great app but few tweaks needed
Love this app! It makes it easy to go through moments of my past and the animation at the beginning is always super nice.
A few things could make it easier to use. For example, going through pictures chronologically instead of having to go through the main page every time would be nice, like a photo album almost. Location also needs work as it does not always detect where I am and doesn't enable me to add my location manually either.

New camera please
I love the app and the idea that you take a picture a day and then you can look back at your daily life. The only change I would want fixed is the photo quality. Bad quality and they have intros and a countdown before taking the picture. Sometimes it is too late to take a picture because we have to wait so long for the introduction. As a result, some of my pictures are black/blurry. They should have an option to skip through all of it if wanted.
