Twain Harte Allen,
Love it, but...
Another thank you for developing an app for the game. I have a couple of minor annoying quirks with this version of the game. I don’t like that when a high card is played, so often the next highest card is thrown, even though strategically, it would have been wiser to hold onto it longer. Makes the play too predictable. Also, I’ve seen it when, if I start the hand with an ace, and the player next to me only has one card, and it’s a 5, and must play it, my partner will not throw their own 5 on my ace that turn. And, when a player is deep (5 or 6 cards on suit) throws their 5 prematurely, losing it, when they have lower numbered cards to play. Being able to go “off suit” is an important element of play. Don’t like that we can’t go off. Another annoyance is some of the bidding is WAY reckless. Makes it hard to “properly” bid when my partner bids a 12 with a Jack, 10, 7, 6 and and a 5. BUT, I do LOVE the game though!
Ozmommi,
Fun
4th edit on my review. Great app. Lots of fun, just like at the table. I do wish that bidding 14/28 was allowed. I know different regions have different rules. The glitches in the ap are so much better. Hardly ever get tossed out anymore. Pidro is a game we all play here in south Louisiana. Now I know it’s played in Finland and California and there strategy and style is COMPLETELY different than the Cajun way. It is just like table play. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GAME. Wish there was a way the game makers could penalize the players that quit the game when they are about to loose just to keep there percentage high. It happens way too often. No such thing as a legitimate 65%.
Only addition as that there seems to be a huge drop in active games. Is there another Pidro app that folks have left for?????
Jbcarrere,
Update is GREAT!
First off, the update four days ago is just what we needed. I’ve played about 10 games since the update and have not had ONE issue. Pedro is a very fun game that test your strategy and partnership capabilities. Luck is of course a factor but playing smart will definitely give you the advantage.

I’m here to clear something up. Apparently, PEDRO/PIDRO has a large fan base in southeast USA, predominantly Louisiana and Europe, predominantly Finland. The basics to the game are exactly the same. The only major difference is that here in Louisiana, we utilize “off” cards while playing a hand. It is hard to have any strategy without using off cards but this app is still the first ever made and only available at the moment. In my opinion, it is amazing. I have so much fun playing a card game I learned as a kid with people from all over the world. Thanks to the creators!

5 stars to the app creators
5 stars for the app layout
5 stars for bug fixes

Baseball S,
Great for beginners
This app is great for teaching new players and satisfying my pidro fill. However, the games bots aren’t very intelligent, leading to unrealistic play. The game also lacks the ability to play off suit variations like follow suit and cutthroat, which to my knowledge are the only correct ways to play. I also have never heard of players being able to bet 6, except for every now and then, people will let a dealer being forced to bet. Lastly, the typical hand that I get in this game is not similar to the typical hands I get when playing pidro in real life. I have never on this game just caught an A, K, Q, 10 hand like I do in real life. It almost seems like they purposefully try to keep everyones hands balanced or something. An updated shuffling algorithm would improve game play in my opinion.
Fake Reviews - Rate 1* !!,
Great representation of Pidro!
If you don’t pay the game tends to crash when the ads finish which is annoying. I pay because I want to support the game and the developers. Some people quit during the game and you have to wait for someone else to join in order to finish. It would be nice to punish those poor sports and make it more difficult to up and leave when you are losing. It should give the remaining three a win and them a loss or something.
Ann Collins,
Frustrated
Hello Tommy Westlin,
I having been playing your game and continuously get kicked out with the message that this ID is logged on a different device, I kept dismissing it bc I knew that I wasn't. Today I'm in a game and someone else comes in the game His name is Tomie, with my picture and so we are side by side and he immediately leaves the game, while I am kicked out, with the same message. So I wait keep trying to sign it and it doesn't allow me to bc this person is using my log in. I finally get in and once again we are in the same game and I am kicked out. He has stolen my information and is signing in as me with the name Tomie. Then I get back into the app and go into another game and I'm staring at my picture again with the name viney. So obviously this game isn't secure and easily hacked by ppl using my information. What do you intend to do to rectify this situation????
Twoscoopsoflove,
Mais Good Game
I grew up playing this game in the Louisiana bayous (Lafourche—the true bayou). It’s much more fun when you’re drinking beers and playing it in person with a bunch of loud-mouthed Cajuns. I don’t agree with some of the scoring that the computer calculates. Glad that it’s not like the Terrebonne Parish version (doesn’t have to follow suit). And I don’t like that you can’t play off the suit when you’re leading. But nonetheless, it’s an ok game. Wish you could play for money. Haha.
cecagain,
Long Time No Pidro
Really liked this game 40 years ago when I was a kid and played with all my relatives. This is scored differently. We used both kings as well as both fives. We also could bid 34/68 if we had all the cards. Doesn’t matter. Basically the same game. Shut down on me a couple of times, but other than that, a lot of free, nostalgic fun.
Unfortunately the rude comments, political and otherwise, are distracting. Lots of nice people, but lots idiots and people who just quit when they’re losing…it’s unnecessary and takes some of the fun out of it. It’d be nice if the quitters could be blocked out somehow.

Was happy when my friend found this game. We have been unable to get together to play in person because of the lockdown. This has been a good if not perfect substitute. Wish you can play off suit like in the version of the games we play. Only annoying thing is the suits of the same color are put together. You really need to pay attention and not assume you have a better hand than you really do.
The Toph 88,
Just ok
Since this is the only app for this game I downloaded it. I was excited to finally be able to play Pidro on an app. Unfortunately, the inability to play off suit kinda ruins it. I know about 4 versions of this game and none of them has the rule where you only play with the trump suit each hand. Without being able to play off suits what little strategy there is is completely wiped out. The game involves a lot of luck as it is but this version is all luck. Hopefully, this will be fixed or another Pidro app will come out where you can play off suits
