You walk into the apothecary. It is dimly lit and staffed by a draconic creature in a trench coat who does not appear to have the best balance. With your passive perception, you see that the list and detail screens in PillTimer now update in real-time. Give me a perception check?

(That's an 11.)

With an 11, you also see that the detail page has been updated to make older doses less prominent. You see a strange looking object on the counter.

(Can I investigate it?)

Give me a wisdom saving throw.

(10?)

Ten is enough, you're able to complete part of the migration from PillTimer 2 to PillTimer 3 if the number of doses is exceptionally large.

You're able to make your purchases, but I need a charisma save.

(Dirty 20!)

Not only do you take advantage of the graphical improvements made to the dose entry panel in PillTimer, but you successfully keep your cool when an arm pokes out of the middle of the staffer's trench coat to take your coins. Your transaction is finished, anything else?

(Can I insight check the staffer?)

You can certainly try...

(Oh, that's an 8...)

(I give Bardic Inspiration.)

(Oh, with that... it's 12.)

Yeah. The staffer is three kobolds in a trench coat.

Three is the version that your phone will know.
Five months, give or take, spent with heads in code.
Nine years since it started, again here we go:
One new rewrite along this new road
For iOS 16 and the future ahead
One app to time your pills, one app to track them,
One app to store them all, and in your iCloud sync them
For iOS 16 and the future ahead

This is a from-scratch rewrite for modern devices. iCloud syncing is now included. Visit pilltimer.app for support. And, sincerely, thank you for all the support for this little app over the last nine years.

One last time
Relax, make a build again
One last time
With the same lines but modern Xcode
And then we'll teach them how to say goodbye
To say goodbye
Because if there is a next version it's going to be a total rewrite that will require the latest version of iOS but there's some lingering bugs in the system now that have shown up because I haven't built any new versions with the new SDKs even though I should have and now people can't archive medicines but this should fix that and also the user interface is a little different on the iPad because of said SDKs but it should work better now
One last time...

Just when you thought it was inconceivable that PillTimer would be updated for iOS 7, here we are.

* Turns out zero doesn't mean what we think it means. So now, PillTimer will ignore any zeros for either hourly or daily limits.
* If it's a decent medicine and you hate to delete it, you don't have to. But if it's just taking up space in your archive, you can now swipe to delete from the archive. (Upgrade only)
* We know life often has pain; it's the reason we are selling something. To that end, we've fixed some lingering issues around the app crashing when attempting to upgrade.
* Stuck in a battle of wits with the app? Send us an email from the app with the new "Report an issue / Get help" button on the add and edit screens. If there's a bug, I swear it will be fixed (may I live a thousand years and never code again).
* Our new flat design is the greatest thing in the world. Except for a nice MLT (mutton, lettuce, and tomato) where the mutton is nice and lean...

Thank you once again for your support, and remember you can get in touch at [email protected].

Okay, before we go 7-only, there's a few things you should know.

1: This version fixes a critical bug that caused the app to crash on some devices after purchasing the upgrade.

2: This version hides the archive button if multiple medications is not on. Also, this is a universal app. (Aside: version 2.0 was actually the first universal version, but we forgot to mention that last time.)

4--no, 3: The next major version will be iOS 7-only.

4: You. Thank you for your support; if there's any bugs or you just have questions don't hesitate to email [email protected] .

And 5; very important, 5: Don't let me eat pears. I hate pears!

TitaniaDioxide,
No fluff, no fuss
This is the best medicine tracking app I’ve ever used.

I needed an app that I could check, and it would say “yes you can take this medicine” or “no, it’s not time yet”.

Every other app focuses on meds that have a set schedule and must be taken at specific times every day. But I have a bunch of as-needed meds, which don’t have a set schedule, and just have a minimum time between doses.

This app is the only one that I’ve found that can handle as-needed meds.

And with the notification feature, it can handle scheduled meds too - just take the first dose at the correct time in the morning, and it’ll notify you when to take your second and third doses.

Highly recommend this app.

Exactly what I needed
I spent the evening in the ER a few nights ago, and came out with a kidney stone diagnosis and four prescriptions. Saw a specialist a couple days later and was given yet another prescription.

In addition, I'm supposed to keep up on regular doses of Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Oh, and my spring allergies have kicked in, so there are two allergy meds to keep track of.

The last thing I want to do when I'm hurting is count which pills I took when and how long until the next dose. This app lets me enter all of the medications, the interval for each, and gives me a very clear visual indicator whether I can take a specific med yet or not. And for the ibuprofen and Tylenol, an alert lets me know it's time to take them, so I can stay on top of this pain.

I paid for the upgrade, but for what it's saving me in confusion and frustration, it's worth ten times that.
andrewramos,
Super helpful app
This app has made taking multiple medications really easy to do. My wife had surgery recently and we used this app to alert us each time she could take more meds. Made things significantly easier!
Ed.......!,
Good app but needs better selection of medication times
The app works well especially in paid version.

However, the app would be much better if it permitted you to specify times to take the pills.
I take pills 3 times a day. However, I take 1pill twice a day but at the same time as the others. There is no way to enter that. Also if you miss or are late you have to readjust times to the previous level. Otherwise the alarms work, the feature to record dose and have new time automatically selected are good features
Rayning1,
Wish it worked.
This was easy to set up. And when it works, it does great, but that is the problem. For some reason it keeps "losing" entries. This morning, as I took my pills, I recorded the entries into the app. Just now I looked at it to see when I could take my next pain pill and there were no entries recorded for today at all. :-(. I hate having to resort back to pen and paper, but I just can't depend on this. Honestly, wish I could.
Pastor 12,
Take your pill!
With three kids and a number of daily medications to remember, it's been a helpful app to get it done.
Jesus of Baghdad,
Hit and miss
Unfortunately this app sometimes doesn't show entries until you take the next one. For instance I take a pill at 8am, 12pm and 4pm. When I go to take the 4pm it only shows 8am pill taken. I take the 4pm pill and all three times show up. Confusing for what should be a simple and critical feature. Finding another app.

Frozen
Had it for a day loved it. Husband just got discharged from hospital has lots of meds. The next day it kept closing open it and it closes so i deleted it re put all meds back in. Worked great till the next day. It just keeps closing it. Closing it. Im giving up on it not a happy customer.
Megz_mn,
Worked at first
Worked great first few days and now when I record dose of every 4 hour medicine it is showing I don't need it again for 24 hours. Have tried deleting med and reentering and everything. Waste of my money and would like a refund.
