App crash
App recently started crashing when trying to update pool testing portion. I reloaded app, restarted iPhone and continue to have crashes. When I try to look at precious pitches detail info the app gets stick in uploading mode. It appears the developer is not paying attention.
GB pool owner,
What’s the point?
I have no idea why anyone would need this app. I use Pinch A Penny exclusively for all of my pool needs. They have installed all of my equipment and they test my pool weekly. None of this information downloads into the app, despite both being connected to my phone number. This app is just essentially a reminder to tell you when to test your own pool and to give you a notebook to keep those records in. that is not at all something the vast majority of people need. I was hoping that it would connect to my account at the store and give me details. I will be deleting it now since despite the fact that it’s useless, it also crashes constantly lol.
Captain Blake 55,
Good app Pinch A Penny customers
Good app for customers of Pinch A Penny pool supplies. Automatically logs all my in store purchases and water tests. I have a couple observations for improvement.

1) The app can register pools and spas with a minimum capacity of 1,500 gallons. I’d like the developers to create an option for customers who have a hot tub with a lesser capacity.

2) I’m using bromine and ozone treatment in my spa. The water tests from my local Pinch A Penny report - for my available chlorine / bromine. The app could help track bromine levels if this was entered under the available
chlorine category, as it is on the print out.

Thanks for a usable pool app. Keep up the good work with future improvements.

LLATHOME,
It doesn’t work
Have been using Pinch A Penny for 30 years. Our account was tied to a landline phone. I used the “call me” option but never got a call. Went to the store and switched to my iPhone. Re-entered the data and it still doesn’t work. Totally useless. The good news is that I’ve kept my pool in good shape without the all for 30 years and will continue to do so for another 30. With or without Pinch a Penny.

User Friendly App with a Lot of Great Features
Finally an app to keep track of all of my purchases and water tests. The app is well thought out and very simple to use. Highly recommended!

No longer synced
Not sure what happened, but it no longer syncs you water samples to the store results. So if you don’t enter your sample manually, you won’t have any records to trace back to.
Gransnow,
Ozone Pool
Thought this app was a great idea but when setting up my pool equipment I noticed there were only two options for Sanitation. Chlorine or Sand. I have an Ozone pool with only 10% chlorine.
Very disappointed it would not let me skip the weekly reminders to test the water. With an Ozone pool you really don’t need weekly tests. I just need backwash and filter change/cleaning reminders.

What is the dwal
I have a pool account online. App wants me to register phone number. After that it wants me to build pool profile. It will not let me submit the information in. If i try to input pool water test it tells me there is an error on my profile. The error seems to be the pool profile it will not let me submit.

Don’t bother
Requires you to put in personal information before viewing any content.

The only part of the app related to the store is the name and ability to find stores. There is no information on what products are sold in the stores.

This is a pool cleaning reminder app. Complete waste. Could be so much better. Just use google and your phone calendar or Alexa or whatever to remind you ….

Don’t give your personal information for this garbage!

Doesn’t work
The app won’t work anymore. Trying to log water test results, it gives you an error message to try again later...which it always says. Frustrating. They promote the app but the app won’t work.
