Sadly it’s no longer supported
One of the best smartphone games made. Great story, characters, boats, and weapons. Be forewarned that the developers have two other supported games and one of them prompts in the app to download and play this game months ago. Once player is “hooked” as they say, the developers pulled the plug. No more weekly battles, no more chests, no more rewards which means players cannot upgrade boats or “heroes”. The game is perpetually stuck. Other reviews say since this happened if you delete app and reinstall it the achievements wii be erased forever starting over at beginning. There’s no way to get it back since the weekly events and arena battles where you get important resources battling with other gamers are gone. I only played for months. In order to advance it demands lots of investments and time. I cannot imagine those who paid and played “hooked” for years and then suddenly all their time and money and virtual resources gone. Nothing is stopping app developers from abandoning their other games which is concerning especially if you pay or put time into it. Would be terrible for this to happen to other game apps. Developers seemingly ignoring requests to bring pipower back!

I'm hooked!
My name is EpicEric, and I am a Pirate Power addict. I play all kinds of games on my phone, but I always find myself coming back to adventure on the high seas! The characters are all unique and give the game a real RPG feel. The ships, weapons and power-ups offer an endless array of combinations. It's always interesting to see what kinds of ships other players built. Being able to give and receive gifts from them is a plus. And I really don't mind the in-app purchases because I feel I'm getting a good deal every time. I just wish there was a way to exchange some of the pirates for floor, coins or much-needed boat parts or weapons. Some of the characters are pretty useless and only take up space at the Inn because I never bother leveling them up, let alone use them.

Cute!
This game was actually kind of a surprise to me. I downloaded in on a whim because it looked interesting, like I do every month or so. But this game surprised me in the sense that it has a small storyline and quests. You're not building a kingdom or society. The only building you do is simply to help you upgrade your ship so you can battle other pirates in the world. And the graphics are kind of adorable. They remind me of animal crossing.

But I was wondering if anyone has an answer to this, I just got past The Doge and now I don't know what to do next. No covered spaces to buy, and no new missions.
I'm trying to level up enough to do The Twins on hard mode, but I don't see any way to move on from my current point in the game otherwise. I'm lvl 27 (almost 28) and my characters are between lvls 18 and 23. Is there anything else I need to do before I can advance from here? Is there anything to advance towards?

I hardly ever make the time to give a review but this game is definitely addictive enough to want to get the developers to come back and continue updates! The game play is easygoing and fun and the story is great. Graphics are cute and fun and I have no real complaints about any except my issue with not being able to connect my face book or the concept of making pearls only through friends. I can’t get those boosts ( create pearls) without friends. And that’s a big downside. Considering it’s only that one thing!? I love the game. I’ve even spent some money just for the vip boosters. So please developers come back to this game! I’m certain that the rate of players could go up!

One of the greatest mobile games
Pirate power has a great story that sadly lacks an ending because development has stopped in the middle of the story. If you have time to play a game with a great battling system and good story. Pirate power is the game for you. This was a game I played when I was a kid so my opinion will be biased but that doesn’t change the fact that this game is amazing. But this story might not have a sad ending since Lime Bolt has recently picked up pirate power and updated the game 3 weeks ago. I hope the game continues to get updates and a complete story. Since I really want to see the Espada’s story end with a great conclusion.

Game keeps crashing
I loved playing this game as a kid and I decided to redownload it on my phone. I started playing the game for a week now and got near the very end. But, my phone got the new update 16.2 iOS I think and now the game keeps crashing. All my other games and apps don’t crash besides this game. I’ve tried everything like restarting my phone, restart my settings, deleting the game and redownloading, literally everything. I don’t know what to do but I wish the creators of this game could make one more update please. I love playing this game so much and I want to keep playing.

Amazing...but when's Chapter 2?
I really love this game. It's story, characters and gameplay are superb as usual. There's just one major thing.
I'm at Mission 5 of the final boss. Besides me not being strong enough to beat it yet; I don't wanna beat it because that's it.
Just an epilogue with a HUGE cliffhanger.
I know grand stories take a long time, but..considering you released another entire game is a little upsetting. (But that's a whole other story for another day)
People still do play this game. And it would really be great if there would be more of a purpose to play besides the arena.

P.S: how come the character Blackbeard is promoted everywhere? I mean in the actual game; you only see him TWICE. First in the very start tagging along Billy and Espada.. and the second time in a daily event...... WHERE YOU DONT EVEN EARN HIM!
P.P.S: how come the Xenoteks eyes were changed from Yellow to Black? Small detail but the yellow eyes look better especially with the color pallet of Xenoteks....

Bug after Purchase
I have really been enjoying this game. But I keep getting a bug regarding my pirate headquarters. I had upgraded it and received 20 flooz. There was a deal for a special chest that was 120 flooz. So, I purchased 100 to get the chest. After the purchase, it said I had 109 flooz and my building went back to being in construction. Now this happens every time I log out of the game. My building will finish, I’ll log out, then it will be constructing when I log back in. Very disappointed that I spent money and can’t even enjoy the rewards for doing so.

I think it's a good game... But I can't even open it! As soon as it starts loading it says that I don't have the latest version. I got the game today, April 2nd. 1 day after the most recent update
But I can't start the game, and it says I should check if I have the latest version

It's now May of 2017 and guess what!
The game has yet to prove it was a small bug, via continuing to happen!
Obviously I have the newest update but it doesn't understand.
My phone stats are an iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.2, and I'm not jailbroken. Plz fix this issue I've always wanted to try the game.

Ok, it's been under a week since my last review and I decided to research more and finally I can open the game! Good game so it's up to a three star, because I still have to close apps, restart my phone, and then play. Still waiting to be fixed.

Never mind it only worked once by chance. It'd broke again. Back to 1 star.
But I can't start the game, and it says I should check if I have the latest version

Disappointing
I came here to leave a really good review and make some suggestions not realizing the game has been practically abandoned by its developers. Which in retrospect explains some of the problems I have been seeing. Sadly I now know there is no chapter 2 and after I finish chapter 1 I won’t be waiting for it. I will still list the problems I have been having so that others many know. The biggest one is the level difficulty meter, it’s not always right. There are minor ones like power ups not working and stuff but that’s it hope that helps.
