The Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam is the main route by which International Medical Graduates (IMGs) demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. The exam includes PLAB part 1 and part 2. We focus on high yield questions that mimic the PLAB part 1 exam, hence giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt. PLAB part 1 is a three-hour computer-marked written examination comprising 180 single best answer questions.
We will continue to offer exam preparation for the UKMLA. The UKMLA stands for the UK Medical Licensing Assessment. It is a new exam that international medical graduates (IMGs) and medical students must take starting 2024 in order to be licensed to practice medicine in the UK. The UKMLA will assess the fundamental knowledge, abilities, and behaviours required to practise safely as a doctor in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to help you in your preparation for the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT) which is the first part of the UKMLA.

Best material for plab 1
Im glad and thanks to God for making me believe in plabable and only plabable before plab 1. This is the only website which is enough to pass plab 1. I have also done all of the webinars and 4 day revision course is high recommended. It is the game changer. Besides please do all mocks and big mocks from the website. It can save ur lives. Thank you for giving us an wonderful journey of plab 1.

The best
It is the only source that’s needed to be read for plab1 test. I sat the test myself and about 40% of questions was exactly the same and the others was just close. There may be only 5% of the questions not present which are manageable.

DOES NOT LET YOU SCREENSHOT, BLOCKS ACCOUNT
App is useless, took a screenshot to take notes instead of writing, app said “account blocked for 5 mins, anymore screenshot will result in account being permanent blocked”.
Dumped the app, opened it on safari, can take screenshots whenever I want. I have MedRivisions as well, didn’t have any issue with them. None of the other learning apps punish users with account blocking for A SCREENSHOT. Poor choice by the devs to restrict users.

Great app
The app is great for studying for PLAB 1. I would recommend to the questions along with the gems because the gems are really good for revision. Also the 4 day Plabable revision course was very very helpful.

Updated review for the App
This is an updated review of the App not the Q bank, after they fixed the landscape issue, now I hope they but the comments after the explanation, as sometime people add a number of good comments, in the App the comment is separate not like the website which include the comments

Explanations not readable
Q bank is 5star, but cant give 5 star for app., especially when u dont allow website to open via browser in portable device.
Explanation doesnt load completely in ios devices. Empty bullet points, empty tables, empty figures. This is so frustrating. Last update made some few improvements, but its not solved yet.

Good app/ needs few enhancements to take 5 stars
1- saving offline: as long as I am a subscriber, saving the content offline will be great
So AT WORK, or other areas where there may be no access to internet I still can move forward with my preparations
2- providing questions navigator, so I can navigate to any question with ease...
Also the app missing the extra topics provided at the end of some questions....

Display Progress please
Very good. But it would be better if there were a progress meter at display showing percentage of completion. That would really help.

Amazing
The only app you need for Plab 1. Important topics, acronyms, revision notes, gems and detailed explanations + mocks. Did it for 3 months and passed, absolutely amazing!

Keeps crashing
The app always shutdown when I’m answering questions. Sometimes it does that after each question, and when I start over again my answered questions wouldn’t be saved. It is really frustrating.
