Description

Practice place value of 2,3 and 4 digit numbers using multi-touch.

The scoreboards spin and a number appears, you are asked with words and audio "How many tens". You must then use your fingertips to indicate how many of each digit there are.

If there are 4 tens then you must hold 4 fingertips onto the screen and wait, if you are correct it will register and move onto the next place value.

The aim is to see how quickly you can answer 10 questions.

To change the number of digits press both cogs at the same time and enter the edit mode where you can pick 2,3 or 4 digit numbers.

NOTE: There is currently a bug in the adobe packager for apps which generates metadata that says this app supports multiple languages. It is only supported in English.

Mariakathryn,
Not that great
I thought it incorporated soccer such as letting the kids score after a certain amount of questions but you just continue to answer how many ones tens and hundreds. I'm not super impressed because they have plenty of free apps that do similar to this
Bryan Baz,
Excellent idea
The use of counting finger touches to teach place value is clever! The app is simple and could be done better, but is still a unique and effective app to help students understand place value.
Countryside Academy,
Elementary
I had a hard time placing the correct number of fingers on the pad. I feel students will real struggle
Marco Humberto,
Perfect for 2nd
This app is great for second graders who still struggle with this concept. After one week of practicing now they never forget.
Time2getserious,
Still putting out apps that don't work
After bug in previous app was fixed, tried new apps. This one doesn't work. Why so many apps when many still have bugs?
Percy123abc,
Don't buy this app
This app is not user friendly. There is no help section.
MarjanHolbrook,
Does not work
Waste of money.
Elavtrman,
Crap with potential
Great setup with the number place but bad way of execution. Would have been great if it actually asked you what number was in the ones, tens, hundredths, and thousands. The tutorial video did not work and took me into gameplay. Nothing leads back to the main menu to retry the tutorial. Had to figure this out by trial and error. Total crap don't buy until improvements are made. I can't believe the App store approved this!
SmallGroupTeacher,
Great for SPED
I LOVE this app for my small group classroom! (Elementary aged students with Autism). It's easy to train, works dexterity as well as mathematical knowledge and helps promote math fluency. Simple, clean and fun!
