$8 A WEEK!?!?? & months after I tried the free trial for one day insane
If I could give zero I would. Maybe this is for you if you have plants and like taking extra care of them but don’t have the time to Google or look elsewhere. Plus You’ll pay $8 a week… I would never pay that I would never even accept that offer so the fact that I just got charged that for a subscription I tried for free and said I wanted to end like two months ago at least is beyond me. I don’t understand why I just got charged now.

Expensive and not so accurate
The fee that they charge is per week when it should be per month if even not annually. It automatically starts charging you at the end of the free trial, which is of course a shady business practice, but they will justify it saying many companies partaking this behavior.
Aside from it, not being worth the money, and the arguably, unethical way they go about automatically charging you after the trial, the application was in accurate on about 30% of what we attempted to identify.
It was wrong about 100% of the time when we just took pictures of tree bark to identify the tree without leaves and branches in the photo.
From a distance of about 10 to 15 feet away. It would often give us a variety of descriptions for a tree that were in accurate.
We did enjoy the layout and the additional information about the plant as far as perennial and annual and water needs and if it’s toxic but other than that I’m sure there are more cost-effective if not even free apps out there that may even be more accurate

Cool app. Bought a bonsai tree from ikea and wanted to learn how to care for it, unknowingly there’s more then 1 kind of bonsai out there(I’m a newbie to plants LOL) but I wasn’t sure the exact species of my plant. I downloaded the app and less then a minute later I had my answer! The cool part about the app is, I didn’t have to do the free trial to get the information I needed, which at the time was just the name of the species, but I also included a ton of information regarding the plan specifically which was awesome!

Needs some work
This app has potential. I didn’t need it so much for identifying plants, more so to identify what’s wrong with them. It does a good job at that but when it gives you solutions on fixing them, you can’t expand it to read the rest of the instructions. That section of the app does state that it’s in beta testing, and I have no problem paying a subscription once those kinks are worked out, but for as long as I have to Google the solutions after identifying them I’m not going to pay for it. And it doesn’t seem like there’s an option within the app to report problems or give feedback.
I do like that it will set reminders for a watering, fertilizing and repotting schedule though.

Too expensive, great concept
This is a nice app. To pay $8 a week or even $50 for a lifetime I think would only appeal to the extreme outdoor enthusiast. Canceling was confusing because there is nowhere in the actual app settings to cancel. Clearly this has frustrated a lot of people based on the reviews. To cancel on IOS you go to the App Store, click on your profile, click on subscriptions, then click cancel. I never knew you could do this until I kept seeing the Developer continue to respond with “cancel in the App Store”. All in all, does what it says, but WAAAAAYYYYY over priced. I would have paid a flat $8 for the App, but nothing more.

Not useful
I downloaded this app to identify some succulents I recently purchased so I knew how to properly care for them and this app is useless if you don’t sign up for the premium plan. It wouldn’t let me identify more then just one succulent and every time I tried to identify another one it took my straight to the page to sign up for the premium plan. All I wanted was the names of the plants. I don’t know if the app is making me wait a certain amount of time before I can identify another one, but even if that’s the case that makes this app unusable for me cause why can’t I just look up the plants when it’s convenient for me. I got really frustrated with this app almost immediately after downloading it and using it for less then 5 minutes. Do not recommend

Clunky and doesnt work
Was immediately asked for a review upon opening before I've even had a chance to look at anything on the app. When identifying, a message ("did you find what you were looking for?") comes up before you've even had a chance to see the results. The other results are covered by the unnecessary message and then the options from there only take you away from the results you're trying to see. You know those apps/sites that are fake and built by emulating existing ones and you can tell something's off bc nothing rly works right? That's what this feels like. Not saying it's fake, but it's... off. It'd be understandable if it was free, but you need a subscription.

Not a bad app, but…
The subscription model is terrible. Why is it that when someone signs up they automatically get put into the 7.99 a week subscription, but when I went to cancel it, you can afford to offer me a 50% discount in a yearly subscription(which is apparently only $20) at 9.99? You’re telling me that you want me to sign up and pay $412 a year, but if I want to leave, you’ll let me have it for $10?
The app itself isn’t bad. The info is solid and the camera app was helpful in diagnosing an issue with my snake plant. I’d even be willing to pay something like $4.99 a month for this, but the current subscription model feels unfair and exploitative.

Free Trial, Free Trial, Free Trial, UGGGGGGG!
Can’t get past the Free Trial page. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING! I was so excited to finally get the names of the indigenous plants I found. I had to un-enable the Free 3-Day Trial offer by clicking the barely seen “skip” at the bottom, which skips you to a page asking if you made the right decision, NOT enabling the Free 3-Day Trial. I touched the screen back to previous Free 3-Day Trial page, again clicked the “skip”. Finally, I could identify my plant. Yay! Now for another plant. OH Nooooo, it started all over again with the Free 3-Day Trial offer but this time I couldn’t get through it all for a 2nd picture. I GIVE UP AND DELETE IT.

Please someone tell me if this is a joke app
I took three pictures of three different trees to identify with this app. Each of the three photographs came back with more than a dozen different trees most were not even in the ballpark of a common Japanese maple. The other two photos were equally obscured asking me the novelist which of these 8 to 10 photos of different plants. I wouldn’t suggest wasting your time nor certainly your money. I’ve had the app for less than 15 minutes and I’ve already spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to cancel my three day trial.
