This version includes enhancements in the reimbursement claims experience as we attempt to move closer to providing employees with the most hassle-free version of a usually painful reimbursement claims journey.
We now share comprehensive instructions on how to upload your documents against each category of documents that employees may be uploading for reimbursement.
Reason for hospitalisation is not limited by pre-filled complex text, but can be filled by the patient
You can now add the hospital name for your treatment.
Earlier, replacing an image through your file manager was showing the wrong preview. We have corrected this.
Previously, on selecting the option to replace a photo of a document that was taken by a camera, employees were being directed to file manager. We have corrected this.
Additionally, there are minor improvements on Telehealth - files uploaded by patients while filling the form were getting corrupted to 1kb documents that doctors couldn’t view. This was increasing the support loop and negatively impacting the doctor-patient consultation process. We’ve taken care of this.

- Telehealth video calling experience handles scenarios of poor network connections during virtual consultations more gracefully through error messaging. We have rectified app crashes when a patient would flip their camera through a toggle.
- We have fixed app crashes on viewing insurance benefits, uploading claim documents, or trying to start a cashless claim
- We have upgraded our networking toolkit to better handle scenarios like no internet connection. This update provides a more robust and seamless experience when you're on the go or have unstable connectivity.

- You can view the status of your consultation under the summary section called ‘Your Consultations’. Notice statuses such as: Waiting for Doctor, Waiting for Patient, Ongoing, and Completed; which all revolve around your appointment.
- Email and phone number validations added to the form-filling section to help us build more patient-friendly features such as ‘Select the patient’ in the future.
- When your appointment is confirmed, you navigate directly to the specific appointment’s details sections instead of Your Consultations. We’ve also added the specialty name on this screen so that it’s easy for employees to keep track in case of multiple booked consultations.
- We’ve made performance fixes to make sure that the slot section for doctors loads faster.
We have also made some fixes to bugs which will smoothen your overall experience with the app.

If you’re a Warizian, you’d also know how Kylo Ren used the force to induce sleep in Rey. Our engineers used the force to do the reverse. The force now won’t let your phone enter sleep mode while you’re on a call with our doctors.

Well, here’s the long and short of it: You can actually make reimbursement claims within 120 days of policy expiry. And now you can do that on the Plum mobile app!
How this helps you: If you/your family members have had to get hospitalized close to your policy expiry date, you can now breathe easy. You can now raise a reimbursement claim within 120 days post policy expiry.

Smoother OTP-based login experience — no more failed logins
