Great App
I love this app so much. Ive only been a member for only a month now and haven’t come across too many issues. I only have a few comments.
•The app at times will sometimes lag behind and/or glitch out when entering a command such as “publish” or “send”(in which if you aren’t the patient type of one to fidget and such, you begin to spam the command) to then duplicate the action for how many times it received it. Can be frustrating at times but manageable I believe.
•Not being able to respond to comment or chat with my fellow poets is kinda saddening. I want to interact more with my community and have great conversations with them. I also want to thank them about their kind words.
•Just curious why theres a limit of 3 hashtags but its not bothersome at all, just curious.
Otherwise I generally overall love this app. I love to share and interact with the poet community and just really love their understanding and appreciation for the short bursts of stories we create. I am going to be using this app for a long time and am excited for what it holds in the future.

The death of poetry
I’ve been using Poetizer for most of the duration of its existence. I take writing short content very seriously as it is my full time job. The new payed subscription base of the app is gross. Any artist will agree. Paying 2 dollars just to type is absolutely ridiculous. It’s a sign the owners of the app have lost touch with what poetry means. Words are free. As a social media notes app it is absolutely stupid to require poets to pay money when they likely will not reap any return. I’ve been a user and avid fan. I have spread the word about your app several times. Today I frankly feel betrayed. This is the opposite of what the message has always been. Publication is one thing but typing and commenting behind a paywall is gross and I hope the repercussions of it bare you burdens. As a poet hearing feedback from fellow writers is what is sometimes most important and now you have taken the voice and the pen from the author and limited their outreach for a measly 2 dollars a month. Sounds more like a business than a community. Don’t make this permanent. The idea of publishing and promoting pieces and books should be paywalled but not the basic fundamentals of what makes Poetizer a usable app. I cannot explain how disappointed this makes me feel as a writer. With an over saturated market of content like writing where authors often do it for themselves and not payment this is nothing more than legal stealing and dream dashing.

I like the old version better
I would rate a five star, but I much prefer the old version. I came back to this app after a long break because I never downloaded it on my new phone, and it’s very different. I miss the simplicity of the box design. It was so much easier and pleasing to read the poems when instead of it just being a bland post where you have to click “Read more”, each poem was placed on a customizable box and when you scrolled through, you saw the entire poem. I almost feel like it’s not even worth using anymore.
Also, when I’m deleting poems, there is a LOT of lag. Additionally, as I said before I have come back to this app after using it a very long while ago, and I’m using the same account. But what’s really odd is that I can’t change my bio, also knows as the “About me” section. I can edit it but there is no way to recede my keyboard and find a button to save it, and if I just click back out, it’s still my bio from before.

A poet may find great friends through chatting, feedback submissions, can save or discover a helpful life changing bookmark poetic story stack.
Tags, likes, and comments are possible.
Exporting from the profile, unaware of moderation and a site version at this time may be impossible —- removed a star but really hurts my heart with a rocky scar.
The future for Poetizer is butterflying I predict quite far.
It’s absolutely fun and I love it so far a ton!
I often feel like a caterpillar coming out of my cocoon in the sun.
I am inspired by following members who are not scared to expose what’s got their marathon heart on a broken or refreshed daily electric run.
Features I would enjoy other than described above:
: An option to share a voice recording feed of a poem read.
: Editing each poem reverts the formatting back to square one at times causing redoes.
: A date publication filtering option or sorting from the profile itself or heightened timeline views.
: A chat redesign UI it’s simple but others have noticed it’s a little clunky and has hiccup notification clawing.

Disappointed
I’ve been looking for a poetry app for awhile, I used to write in a notebook and had over like 20 pages filled with poetry but I figured out my handwriting isn’t the best and I’m so much faster just typing it. I found this app, looked in the reviews and everyone said they loved it, I downloaded it but I can’t create ANYTHING I can only read others. I made an account but it wants me to pay either yearly or monthly, obviously I’m doing the monthly but when I tap on it, nothing pops up and I tapped the 14 free day trial and it shows “connection error” it’s not my internet because I heard somebody else had the same problem, it wants me to pay but I can’t even pay.
Can you please fix it, because I really want to use this app. I can publish my own books and that would be amazing. This was the only app that got my attention, so please fix that error.

Editing my review to hopefully get a solution to something I noticed… not sure why, but when I try to search one word hashtags to find poems it literally doesn’t show up, the only things that do are hashtags that are more than one word or something close to what I’m searching…. For example you can’t just search the #God or #faith it is always multiple words… also makes me concerned that people will not find my poems if they can’t search the tags that I use, & then I’m unable to find others poems using the same tags because for some reason you can’t just search one worded tags??? Not sure how this can be fixed, but you guys fixed the last issue I had so thank you! Love this app

Appreciate Fixes but Still Needs Improvement
Looks like they fixed some devastating bugs, which I appreciate. The UI for the app has weird bugs that still needs to be worked out. There’s a 50/50 chance that anything I make in a draft won’t load later so I can’t continue the draft unless I login to my computer.
Paragraph spacing is still weird where it’ll save your initial layout, but if you go back to edit, the spacing appears to be gone. If you add spacing back in, it compounds in the original spacing so you have double the original spacing. This extra spacing cannot be changed.
New chat features are nice but I’d like to be able to tag other people more freely as I would like to credit others if I use part of their pieces in my own.

Connection Problem
Every time I try to register, it keeps saying, “Connection Problem: So sorry! There was an error while processing your request. Please try again later.” And I thought there was problem with my connection either on WiFi or with me using data, but apparently, that wasn’t the case. It’s the actual connection problem that you guys have on this app. I’ve literally tried registering over and over again but then had eventually quit trying due to the fact that it was frustrating me so much. Please fix this issue, and this app in general. It’s really frustrating and hard to even navigate through the app itself, and I’m really frustrated with the process of it. Please do something. I would really like to use this app, but I can’t cause I feel trapped due to the issues associated with it causing me to be angry all the time since I can’t really ever register. Oh, my goodness!

Lack of poets
I give this App 5 stars because it's a cool and great App with awesome potential to be made and advertised as well. I forbid this App only because I look up other great ways to get recognition in poetry. This App was one of the Top 20 on google, I don't remember the rank when I did look it up in late January 2018. The people on the App don't really like poets poetry to much and it's literally a hand full of people on here writing daily and making some progress . I believe there are a lot poets that don't know about this App or there is another legit App like this one that could be out there! Other than that still a Great App with 5 stars and talented poets that read so far woman or man!

Sad to see you go
Ludicrous that you need to pay a subscription to create poems. MAYBE to view the poem timeline I guess but even that is a stretch. Why would anyone want to pay to write poetry, share poetry and view poetry. The subscription model should provided added features on top of the free ability to write, share, and view poems. I find it hard to believe that the devs lacked enough creativity to be able to think of quality of life improvement features that would be worth paying a subscription fee on top of what should always be free. One star only because I can’t put zero.
For anyone new to this app please disregard older five star reviews as these were all made before they made it pay to play. I’m sure if everyone who previously wrote a five star review changed them to reflect the new changes then this app wouldn’t be rated so high.
