While collecting Pokemon Go gifts is as easy as taking a screenshot, Photo Library is not the best place to keep track of hundreds of gift cards. With Poke Album you can build your collection in a whole new way, with easy browse, search, World Map view mode and statistics!
HOW IT WORKS
• Take one or more screenshots of your new Pokemon Go gift cards before opening them
• Launch Poke Album and let it automatically import the card pictures into your collection
• Poke Album uses image recognition to extract title, location, and the sender friend’s name directly from the screenshot

Great when it works
… but it hasn’t worked since April 18 for me. 🙁

Used to work fine, now broken. (FIXED)
Used to be amazing, now it can’t finish scanning screenshots without the app crashing and not completing the scan. Nothing fixes, not even deleting and re-installing. Hopefully next update will fix and I can change review. Otherwise great product.

Super Fun, One Bug, Some Missing Features
I really love this app and I have soooo much fun with it!! There’s one bug that is super frustrating, which is that the name of the postcard will often have random letters or symbols in front of it when the postcard is added. I think this is specifically an issue with postcards that have stickers.
Things I hope they add in the future:
- I wish there was a way to scan screenshots of postcards that were pinned in the Pokémon Go app. I’d really love to import all of the cool postcards I received before hearing about this app on Reddit.
- I also wish there was a way to sort postcards sent by a single trainer. I have a lot of accidental duplicate postcards (sent on different days) that I don’t want. If I could sort the postcards alphabetically I’d be able to properly clean up my albums.
Otherwise great! If you’re reading this review get the app, but be warned it’s addictive. ;)

great app!!
Still trying it out and it’s really cool. Does everything that it advertises well. Very nice and clean.
One suggestion— with the advent of remote raiding I take screenshots of the remote raid invites (the orange bar that shows the Gym pic and gives location data). It would be cool if the app could read those as well and give them the same treatment. Heck I would pony up another 2.99 for it. 😀

Love this app
I’ve been using this app for a couple years and love it. I wish I could have it set to auto delete screenshots on import and that the import of new stickers wasn’t so problematic but it’s still an app I wouldn’t want to be without. Thank you!

After several weeks of loving this, saving cards from all over the world, and wishing it worked with stickers, I’ve pretty much given up. The app, with all of those saved cards, no longer works. It crashes on startup every time. I haven’t deleted it because optimistic me keeps hoping it will get fixed, and I hate to reload and lose all those great images (not to mention the time I spent saving them). But it isn’t looking good.

Doesn’t work with cards with stickers on them
Little frustrating that it doesn’t automatically import cards that have the new stickers on them. Any chance we could get it updated to use them? Still can manually put in the information though

The stickers mess up the import which is kind of the whole reason for paying the IAP, please update the app if possible!

Doesn’t work on cards saved in the in-app album
Seems like a great app to have if it worked on the cards you’ve saved to your in app album. I hope this is fixed.
