Create your own country and customize it for the ultimate roleplay and world-building experience. Choose your leader, draw your borders on a map, create your own nation flag, government type, nation currency, and much more.
Mine and refine resources which can be bought and sold in a completely player-driven supply and demand economy. Use resources to power your nation, build military units, city improvement, and large-scale projects to improve your nation.
Raise armies and wage war with other players. With 7 different military units, including nuclear weapons, you can raid neighboring nations to loot money and resources or wage all out attrition war to pummel your opponents into the ground.
Engage in diplomacy with other nations by creating and joining alliances with other players. You can sign treaties, enforce political and economic sanctions, cooperate in global wars, and more. Work together with other players to compete for economic, militaristic, and diplomatic dominance in the game.

Great game, great community
Politics and war is a wonderful MMO nation simulator game that lets you collaborate with people and build your nation, form alliances, wage wars etc. I’ve been playing for almost three years now and have met some amazing friends throughout. Highly recommend using discord if you’re gonna play, it makes everything smoother, especially communication which is an essential part of building alliances and cooperating. The creator of the game in particular is an outlier in the online gaming world as he is extremely available to the players through the P&W forums/Discord server and will frequently talk directly to us about changes to the game and potential issues. Plus he’s generally just a really nice guy! If you like nation simulator games or you have ambitions for world domination then you have to try P&W. If you happen to sign up, DM my nation Lacedaemonia (leader Michael K Ultra) and I’ll send you a cool million bucks just for reading my review. :D

Very Toxic community
Community is very toxic and racist . A lot of the big alliances are crook they tax their member way too much when they don’t tax themselves. If you’re new you’ll never get into powerful position in an alliance because no way they’re gonna let u win over their long term friends that they know since 2015. That’s why all leader top 10 AA play since 2015 or 2016. Only alliance I like is Aargh because no tax ! any tax higher than 10% it’s too much and average Is 30%/30% . Also I was raiding a nation because he was an inactive applicant for a week. I got punish very bad they refuse to beige me to force me to wait 5 days until the war almost expire . Really toxic there wasn’t no second chances I try to apologize and I’m willing to pay double amount of damage I cause . They still refuse n be toxic punished me over attacking an inactive applicant . I don’t understand y they don’t kick inactive applicant lol. If they’re taking too long to apply they’re not worth it . I hope they make war rules if you don’t attack after you have 12 then war ends . Making a new nation wait 5 days n constantly sabotage them with spies that’s a way to kill the game . Now I’m going to delete nation

Involved In Too Many Wars
Politics & War is a generally fun game but I have a problem with it. I have lost 8 wars already and won 0, I am sick and tired of losing wars. I am rather new to the game and I just feel like people declare war on me for no reason at all. I am currently involved in three wars right now. This happens A LOT, what I mean is people declare too many wars on me at once and I can only be at one place at a time. So just please add a way to pull out of a war and not let it say “war lost” or “defeat”. I also never get a chance to build up my nation and military, I only have like 25,000 active personnel right now. I know there is the “truce” but I don’t know how to do it. Just please make a thing where you can only declare a war for a good reason. I’M SO TIRED OF BEING PICKED ON BY THREE DIFFERENT NATIONS AT ONCE AND ALWAYS LOSING THEM.

You ever drove you truck half drunk blaring Morgan wallen or Cody Johnson down an old back road at 3am, after smashing a team of frat girls at beer darts then smashing them? Well politics and war is nothing like that in fact it’s a grind it’s more like simping over a female and everytime you get close to smashing she friendzones you however you keep doing it because you love the chase. Your gonna grind this game out your gonna love it your gonna get frustrated but your gonna come back for more because when you finally get the cookie you’ve been chasing it’s worth it and just as sweet as you thought it would be. Also when you download this masterpiece join Odyssey and message the leader for moral support bc we don’t give free money 🍻

Unpopulated space where no cities exist
This game is great. It’s fun, addictive, and it truly teaches the human brain how to develop a somewhat stable government, and how to run it. But, one problem i have with this app is disease. Disease rates in my 3 cities are extremely high, highest being what, 30%? In the real world, if a country has space where little no one lives, a family who’s daring enough will decide to live there, to escape the pressures of high tax rates, work, or just for the fun of living in the wild. This app doesn’t have it. Disease rates just climb and climb, and my citizens’ faith in me decreases ever so slightly. If we have unpopulated space, can we have some daring families make a home, or even little towns on their own? This little feature would make the game even better than it already is, and i can finally keep some faith from my citizens.

Greatest Strategy game
This game honestly surprised me with how good it is and the alliance I am in is very nice and I am having no problems getting stronger. It has only been like 7 days since I started playing and I can’t put down my phone because of how engaging the game is the only complaint I have is that when I buy say a farm or increase a baseball players stats it sends me all the way to the top of the screen so I have to constantly scroll all the way back down. But besides this the game is very fun and I like how it protects new players from attacks :).

Great game
I love this game and I’ve only been playing for about a day now.I’ve been looking to play a game like this and I’ve finally found one it is the greatest.I hope there are some cool updates in the feature, one this I would like to see is something with the military,I wish like when you had wars and when the war was over if there was certain soldiers who went above and beyond the call of duty you could award them with like a Medal of Honor like how the real president does or like you could award someone with the medal of freedom..I think it would be cool!

Just wow.
This is the closest I have ever seen a game come to a political massive multiplayer game, it is wonderful, it takes a bit of commitment as it is a very time sensitive game, to the point it doesn’t feel like a game but another outlet of my life, I’ve met friends here and I work with them to play this game successfully and it is just so thrilling, you could play the market, farm resources, raid, etc.
At first it is a little confusing and can get boring but where it gets fun is when you mix discord in, it’s a whole other outlet of the game.
Yes there are some toxic people on it and they are annoying but some of the fun of the game is that the community has the power to deal with problems like that, and they have.
If your considering getting started, it is a great choice, find you niche in it and the game feels like a whole virtual world.

Dealing with propaganda
TheRussian people need to be aware of what’s happening in the UKRAINE. If they are caught listening or talking against the party line they will get 15 years in prison. They can find out what is happening by getting a VPN app which can look like they are in Paris or New York so they can not trace the text or you tube and see another point of view.

Not worth investing time. Devs killing their game
Basically a get raided simulator at best. You run out of protection and immediately get raided, the devs are aware of this and don’t respond to anyones reviews because they rely on new players to run out of protection so their old players have someone new to raid. I actually was close to beating a raider and honestly I wouldn’t have been nearly close if I hadn’t spent $5 on the game earlier for money, it’s not possible to defend straight out of protection without having spent real money to buy more cities, money for land/infrastructure. I don’t see this game surviving past it’s old player base. I’m just glad I didn’t spent more money, was about to buy vip, but got raided straight out of protection
