2014-10-13
We've added a browse tab so users can check out the current top 10 shared or flagged images.
While in browse mode you CANNOT affect an image's spread. Kills and shares do not apply to images in browse mode.
We've also added a random tab which randomly grabs 10 images.

iOS v1.1.0 Updates
NEW iOS FEATURES
PopCast Mechanics
- Cards are now pushed to users randomly in the backend. A user pushes a card to 2 more users by sharing it on the main tab.
- A kill stops the card from being pushed to 2 users.
- Thus, each user has a fixed number of cards that are pushed to him or her and must now refresh or wait for additional cards to be pushed to him or her.
Settings Tab
- Users can send our developers a message through the settings page with any problems or suggestions that the user may have.
- Users can also view the Terms and Conditions, privacy policy and the version of their PopCast app.
Home Tab
- Larger share and kill stamps.
- Background card now fades into view as foreground card is swiped away.
- New main tab card layout
- New card layout now displays total views and % of users who shared the card
- “More Options” button, brings up menu with the ability to send our developers feedback like inside the settings tab as well as flag the card for inappropriate content.
- Cards remaining counter shows how many cards are left in your card stack.
- Pull down to refresh. When low on cards pull down on the screen to add more cards to your stack if any have been pushed to you.
Profile Tab
- Added a refresh button to the user profile. Users can now see their card data in real time.
- Added card view count to each card in profile table.
- Clicking on the thumbnail opens up the full size card and shows the share count, total view count, and percentage of users who shared the image.
Upload Tab
- Image uploading animation now appears when users upload an image to PopCast.
Opening Tutorial
- New color tutorial with more intuitive text to help explain the app better.
