IDONTKNOWWHATTAPUTHERE,
I liked it, but...
The game was overall enjoyable. The graphics and art style were nice, puzzles were amazing, and music was great. But the controls aren't really meant for the screen of an iPhone. It seems like it was meant to be played on an iPad. You can complete the game using an iPhone - I did - but there are times where it's extremely challenging and you have to use multiple fingers or try to rotate the pieces - and rotating is the one I really didn't like about the game. Trying to rotate or spin the pieces on an iPhone, makes me want to throw my phone as hard as I can at the wall. But, putting aside all the control problems, I really did like the game and how it made me think.

Great Concept - Not Worth The Money
Right off the bat, I loved the concept and style of this game. The relaxing music was inviting and the game itself was beautiful. The simplistic mechanics and soothing geometry base were interesting and the game itself had potential. However, style isn't everything.

For this price, there is a shocking lack of puzzles. The small amount of puzzles were unbelievably easy, so much so that by the end of the game I was still expecting to get to "The Hard Part." Everything was impulsive and simple, I hardly was thinking as i slid the bars and poked the dots. The most difficult part was manipulating the actual elements of the puzzle while not rotating the entire object and vice versa. Puzzles are suppose to make you think, and I understand this was suppose to be a new perspective on the genre of puzzles and it was suppose to be "relaxing," but it cannot be labeled a puzzle if it requires little or no brain effort.

At the end, I closed this app feeling disappointed. I was ready for a simple challenge, but in this games attempt to be relaxing, it ended up being pointless. Nevertheless, I give it two stars because I see potential, I just wouldn't buy it yet.
Karma Adjuster,
There were barely any puzzles
This game was a pretty tremendous disappointment. While visually beautiful, it lacks the core of what makes a puzzle truly engaging. Instead of being a game of solving puzzles, it was simply a game of finding buttons. Only once or twice was there a puzzle that required experimentation and logic to figure out. Everything else basically forced you to solve the mechanic brute forcing all possible options, and usually there was just a series of single options to choose from.

There are no real choices to make. You just push this button, slide that slider, rotate this dial, each action unlocking another button, slider or dial. It is like trying to solve a maze that is just a single corridor.

This app is more of a pretty bauble than a puzzle. I wouldn't even call it a toy. If you just want something pretty to look at and listen to, then this app is good for that, but not much else.
Gitarzz,
Not the puzzler I expected
I enjoy using a lot of relaxation apps, particularly generative art apps. I like puzzle games as well because there’s no stress to them. I thought this was a puzzle game, and it is to a degree. Not an extremely difficult puzzle though.

This succeeds more as a relaxation app. It gives you something to focus on, has relaxing ambiance and beautiful graphics. I have a friend who has migraines who might find this app to be quite a relief.

I’m not really far into the game yet. It asked if I wanted to review. I imagine the developer feels that at the point where the review request popped up I had played enough to make a judgment. So, at this point in the game here is where my judgment lies.
Big P USMC,
Beautiful...Wish there was more!
First off, the game is beautiful. The design is great, the music, ambiance, everything. There are also some very clever and intriguing puzzles, set to challenge your spatial thinking.

That being said, I was pretty much shocked when the game ended. Right when you think the game is about to get down and start getting truly difficult, it just...ends. I don't think I spent more that 10 or so minutes on any one puzzle. Because it presents different methods of manipulating the puzzles, it almost feels like playing through a tutorial, only the real game never begins. There are some tricky bits, but nothing I would call truly challenging.

All in all, this was a big disappointment. What was done was done well, but that potential is left unfulfilled by a criminally short play time. For a paid app, I expected a little more. Bummer.
SpenceRoast,
I've given it three stars but not because it's a bad game.
If I could I would add another half star to the rating because it is an excellent game for it's beautiful artistic style and amazing puzzles. Honestly if I could use some of the puzzles to lock my phone I would. The problem I have with the game is how short it is. I've played and beat it three times now and I only just downloaded it two days ago. I think it would be better if there were more puzzles, maybe harder difficulties or even a super large puzzle based on the large geometric sphere (I honestly thought that was the core of the games). Is it worth 99 cents? Yes. Should there be more content? Yes. I hope the developer moves forward with this and delivers something even more expansive.
AJoeTimber,
Great game hampered by sub-par controls
Edit: I finished the game, it definitely took me longer than the dev estimated hour, because of the controls, but if there was a camera lock button, I think it'd solve a lot of issues.

I really like the idea and gameplay of Prism, but it's basically unplayable on my iPhone 6. The touch targets are extremely small and fiddly, at times I've had to use 4 fingers on multiple sliders and buttons. It's more than a little frustrating. If you're not playing on an iPad, or if you have medium to large fingers, good luck.
BriAdele,
A creative problem solvers dream!
I love that the game doesn't "punish" you when you get it wrong like most problem solving games. It gives you the chance to solve the problem without being under a time or life restraint. I hope that isn't because it is a newer game and that this feature remains.

The design was gorgeous and I captivating but sometimes it was a little too difficult to keep the system still. Rotating the entire screen could be a little less frustrating.

Overall I love how it feeds the creative part of my brain at the end of a long day.
faelynne,
Scintillating on iPad Pro!
I really loved this game. The graphics and puzzles were fun with such beautiful rewards that had me wanting to keep on going. I was so very disappointed when the game ended. I hope that, perhaps, new levels might be added (please!).

I really found that it was mostly a joy to play on my iPad Pro. I did wish that there was a way to lock the extraneous movement that was not relevant to a puzzle. However, on my iPhone 6, it was a mess with some puzzles actually becoming stuck, requiring a restart.
SplitDrive,
It's great, but...too short, dude.
This game is beautiful and the puzzles were clearly thought out, but first off: only a select few of all 12 puzzles are truly challenging. Also, with most puzzles being as easy as subway surfers, coupled with the limited amount? equals a good 40 minutes or so of gameplay, and that's if you know what you're doing. I genuinely like this game, but honestly! There needs to be more content to this, especially since there are pretty much NO other puzzle games on the App Store that are as iconic as this one.
