Works as advertised
This is does just what it says: it lets you take pictures and store them in a password protected vault. You can export and import photos and organize your photos inside albums. The design doesn't quite justify 5 stars but it's a solid 4.

It would be nice to have a way to reorder photo albums, or have them listed alphabetically. Currently they are listed in the order that they are created (newest at the bottom) which probably isn't what's wanted most of the time.

It's nice being able to hide private photo's in it.
Update: I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 Plus to an iPhone 12 Max Pro. 1st issue, I used my fingerprint to open the app on 8. When it transferred over, the fingerprint caused the app to crash as soon as it was opened on my 12. Completely deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Turned the fingerprint on again and it caused the app to crash instantly with no way to turn it off. Again, deleted it and re-downloaded it. 2nd, the app will randomly crash for no reason. Not sure why it happens. 3rd, on my iPhone 8, you could hold the pic and got the option to make photos private or public. When they’re public, you get a little “eye” in the left corner of the thumbnail. Now I have numerous photos that are supposedly public. And lastly, when I tried to email the app maker from inside the app, my email was kicked back as not deliverable. If they fix the issues quickly, I’ll be more than happy to give them 5 stars again.

No Support
I ran into huge problems with this app. I had Private Camera Lite on my old iPhone7 and when I tried to transfer it to my iPhone14 the app would not open. I then downloaded Private Camera Vault and was able to set it up but unable unable to migrate photos. I contacted Apple support and they were also unable to contact the developer. Finally the Apple rep suggested I simply reload my iPhone7 from the cloud, when I did that the app opened on my 7 and I was able to retrieve my photos and moved them to my iPhotos “hidden” file. Fortunately I still had access to my iPhone 7 or I would never have been able to retrieve these photos. In summary my advise is to always check out the developers and make sure you are able to contact them before placing any trust in their apps

This app doing a wonderful job but I just requesting the app developer please add more sharing options to other apps; for example, to one drive, to viber, to whatsapp...etc. If I see update I'll write review again to add the 5th star. 😀

Lost all my photos
I got this app back in 2013 and at the time I loved it! It was really easy for me to export all my photos into this app, however I ended up deleting the app due to storage issues, and when it came time for me to re-download private camera I lost every single picture and video. It still shows all my albums are on there but as far as anything being in there it's all gone. I even contact their help/support and I have yet to hear back from them. I'm just trying to get all of my memorable pictures back :( if anyone knows of what I should do please let me know!

App does not work in iOS 14.2
On the previous iOS version videos sopped working. You would hear the audio but the video was solid black. Notified the developer but I never heard back from them. Since updating my phone to iOS 14.2 the app does not work. It crashes right after opening. The worst part is that I don’t know if it will be fixed so I do not loose all the content I have stored in it.

Cancel and Apply buttons
Great App if they fix the photo editor. The cancel and Apply buttons are hidden under the time and signal/battery icons so you can’t make any changes.

It stopped working
I’m not sure if it has to do with the recent update, but everything in my folder decided to stop showing. I still have sound, but the picture is solid black. It worked awesome before the update.

Edit feature is an issue with the X screen
The Cancel and Apply button when you edit a picture is all the way in the corner and the time, signal bars, etc overlaps it. You cannot click the Cancel or Apply buttons and you are now stuck in the edit screen.

App went to garbage
Application worked just fine until iOS 15 came out. Developer has no contact method whatsoever to report app crashes. App will not load on any device and continues to crash. Cannot get refund because they do not have a Support channel. Remove this app and this developer from the App Store.
