Depression and insomnia are common psychiatric conditions. With increased awareness, more people are seeking professional help, such as clinical psychological service. Yet, due to the huge service demand and limited resources in the public setting, the waiting time between treatment session could be long. In view of this, the Department of Psychology, the
University of Hong Kong has designed a smartphone app "proACT-S". "proACT-S" is a self-help cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) app for depression and insomnia.

抑鬱及失眠是常見的心理疾病,而現在接受專業治療的患者也持續增加。在現時的臨床心理服務中,由於有極大的需求及受到資源的限制,患者往往需要輪候一段較長的時間才能接見臨床心理學家及覆診。有見及此,香港大學心理學系研發了一個智能手機應用程式“proACT-S”以輔助日常的臨床心理服務。"proACT-S"為一個以自助形式的抑鬱及失眠認知行為治療。
“proACT-S"的特點:
