I wish there was an option to add a caption of what I saw the day I took that particular photo.

It takes a minute each night to document your day with a photo and short description/ but what a payoff after a year!!! I just did it for a year and had a photo book printed for my husband that I presented to him on New Year's Day . What a joy to remember and reflect on all the days! Alvin Yu, the developer of this app is so responsive and helpful- amazing customer service. He uploads your photos to lulu to print- but I also printed them myself on photo paper/ 3 days to a page. Good luck! Great app! REV. 2-3-17. I just received my Lulu book of each photo printed - it is fabulous!!!

I used the not paid for app in 2014 for my son’s first year of birth. So when I had my daughter in 2016, I bought this paid app. I completed the 365 days and wanted to make a book. Alvin won’t email back or create the book to print off Lulu. I have been emailing him the past year to have it created and still no response. Horrible service and I can’t even print or get a book of my daughter’s first year. Very angry and frustrated. DO NOT pay for or use this app. Find something else so you can print it and look back at the memories!

You're shutting down the app? Please add a way to download a full back-up for all photos, a single button (like Instagram). As a photographer, I have used this Pro app everyday for five years! It absolutely needs a one-button back up provision (especially the Pro edition)!

Been trying to contact the developer to purchase my old captions back from when the app used to backup into the cloud. Will pay $$, please respond to the emails sent. Thank you.

I loved the app but with recent changes I have been unable to print my daughter’s photo book. Making my entire YEAR working on it POINTLESS. I have emailed numerous times asking for help/ customer service/ suggestions and have never received ANY response. I am happy to remove/amend my review if I get a reply.

Man this app is awesome. Been using it for over a year now (started on free version, so yes I got hosed when I switched to Pro). I agree that the new UI, although looks clean is a lil clunky (lag). But it does look nice. I've been patiently waiting for the photo books to come out in an update and now that they have, it's bitter sweet. It's sweet cuz I can print my pix out in a book format, but bitter cuz I use 365 as a journal. It's awesome cuz the app lets you type a lot in for your photo of the day, but when converted to the book view the description gets cut off. Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be a way to have the entire entry viewable. So as awesome as this app is, it's still almost perfect. But I loved it before the book view so it's still an A+ app in my book.

Hi, I recently upgraded to iPhone eleven and none of my past years photos have transferred with the app. Is there a way to retrieve previous year’s entries?

This is a fairly basic app that does a good job. However it needs some work to make it more user friendly.
1). You have the choice of keeping the photo original (rectangular) sized or cropped into a square. I wanted to keep mine original, however, then you have no control over where in the photo the thumbnails are taken from. So I had to re-crop all mine into squares just to have sensible photos on the monthly view.
So please add in a 'select thumbnail view' option.
2). Cropping is hit & miss! It works fine on photos that I have taken on my iPhone and are in the photo library on my iPhone. However the crop does not work for 'foreign' photos, e.g. Taken on another camera, emailed to myself and saved into my iPhone photo library or uploaded from Facebook. It will let you crop, but then it moves the image & resizes it back to a rectangle.
3). It's now February 1st and there still hadn't been an update to add in Feb 29th!!! Come on, reviewers have been complaining about this for months.

I have been using this app for years. I started when my husband and I got married, and once we had our daughter I found that I loved it even more. I love that it motivates me to take a picture everyday, that I can include a caption, and can post it to Facebook. But the very best feature is that it stores my pictures on a private webpage that I can share with family and friends. I've even shared it with my students, so they can watch my children grow. Not only is it a great app, but the developer is quick to respond and correct any problems! 5 stars all the way!!!! Definitely go Pro, it's totally worth it! (And I rarely pay for apps!)
