My son was super excited to get this for Christmas, but he has been devastated by its uselessness. Like many people, we have had trouble with the app - no confirmation email, screen goes blank, spinning wheel of death, etc. We sent a customer inquiry on December 27th and didn’t receive a response until January 13th. All that they said was, “Was this ever resolved?” We responded “No” and haven’t heard from them since. To top it off, the person who emailed us had a signature with the name Greg Wilson, Business Manager, and provided a phone number. I called the number and reached the voicemail for a guy named Steve. Nothing about Abacus. Just a guy named Steve. Regardless, I left a message and sent a text because, according to Steve, he would get back to us more quickly if we texted. No response. I sent an email to Greg, filled out a second inquiry, found their page on Facebook and sent a message and posted on their wall. I also looked them up on LinkedIn and, according to their page, Abacus is a company with 2 - 10 employees. I have not received a response. At this point, I think I am going to contact Barnes & Noble to let them know they are carrying a product from a company who refuses to help their customers resolve this issue. It is a subtle form of thievery.
