I just found this app. Thank you for creating it. There is just something so soothing and relaxing about a cat/kitty purring. I love nature sounds and had been looking for “cat’s purring” recording or app on and off for months. Finally found your app.

The little hiccup is a little weird and may be bothersome to some. To me it reminds me each cat/kitty has a different purr. And each of their purrs are different. They purr when scared or sick not just happy. They purr to calm and soothe themselves, each other and their humans. Sometimes they have a cold, etc. so the little hiccup didn’t bother me.

I love that we can add a picture of our cat to the app. I also love the black fur background. That said some may not like black fur. Are there plans for different fur options? Not just adding a picture of our cat.

I really like the idea of this app, but would like to make a suggestion. I love the purring it does sound very real but I can hear a slight hiccup when the recording turns over. Is there a way for the recording to be a longer length before it re-plays or get rid of the hiccup when it replays.????

I actually have a little cat at home that sleeps right by my head every night and purrs and purrs. She's 12 years old and I was looking for something to fill the void when she leaves us some day.

I love this simple little app of a cat purring. I'm involved with several cat rescue organizations and recently received a very scared and stressed Siamese cat. Nothing I could do would calm him until I found this app. I downloaded it to my iPod and let it purr next to him in his cuddle cup. He immediately started to close his eyes and relax.
This little purr machine is brilliant on many levels..

The purring sounds are excellent real recordings. Love them! I was looking for some purring sounds to comfort me since my cat passed away and this app does a great job. One issue - the "Max" sound is wonderful but has some high pitched noises behind it. Totally ruins the calming effect. Can this be fixed? Also, adding a sleep timer would be excellent when using this to fall asleep. Otherwise if using it to sleep, it means the phone would be running all night. With these fixes it would be a perfect app!

“Chicken” sounds just like my favorite black cat from years ago, and it could put me to sleep like his purr did when he would lay right up to my ear…If only it did not have that tick-tick-tick clicking sound repeating every minute or so. That sound keeps me from falling asleep and would be wonderful if it could be edited it out.

Meow meow meow meow meow meow?🙀 What my cat means to say is “I walk away for 5 minutes and she replaces me with an app?” On another note, I have not been left alone with the purrr app by a cat since, I think they find it to be as calming as I do. I find it to be better than the breathing meditation apps that use the waves. Well done.

I rescued a beautiful cat from my local shelter only to learn that he has a silent purr ☹️ I can feel the vibration and know he is purring but it’s inaudible. So, when I am really missing hearing kitty purrs, I use this app and get my audible purr fix.

Thank you so much for making this app! It sounds incredibly realistic and it makes me feel warm when my little kitten is stuck out in the rain. :( I get so worried for her, but this helps me a lot.

Love the app as the sound is so soothing and reminds me of my beloved Patches, but even though I purchased the HD package I still hear that background noise as the tape goes around. Do hope this issue can be resolved as that would make this app absolutely purrfect !

The periodic background noise was distracting. It woke me up when I was hoping to use this app as delightful white noise for a good night’s sleep.
Could you possibly have someone edit it to remove that? The purring itself is soothing and exactly what I was looking for.
