Helped me pass my military PT test
Love this ap. I've never been able to do more push-ups in my life before--not even in my 20s. I used this and was able to work up to an EXCELLENT for my Air Force PT test.

Unclear
App says “3X a week, at least one day break”. Is that 3x then take a day off? Or you will alternate days off so you are on the program doing push-ups three days during the week. Huge difference. Due to recovery I’ve chosen to do my pushups two days in a row and recover on the third. Just not clear what the intention is.

Great basic exercise app.
This is a very good app to get you started on an exercise program. It finds a starting point based on your current fitness level and sets the program to help you go from that point forward. And it doesn't break the bank by requiring constant update purchases.

Requires upgrade to full product
I found this app because of the website. I loaded it because I thought it was reflective of that website. After 3 weeks, I was prompted to upgrade to the full product. Why would I do that? Apparently the full program is free online. I decided to use the website for the rest of the program. I've finished week 3, started week 4, and I'm going strong. I think the program works, although I've had to add some stretching to avoid injury.

Great program! Make sure and rest one day in between. I used the squat, situp, and pull up workout also. Took me about 45 min to 1 hr to complete all four workouts.

Week 4 is tough, you will hit the wall; however push through as day 2 week 5 lowers reps but adds sets up to 8. Several people stop or get stuck on week 4 keep pushing.

I saw a noticeable difference in strength and appearance in 3 weeks.

In just two weeks I have effortlessly gone from being able to do 20 push-ups to 70 at a time. Love it!

How is this so highly rated?
Having tried this app I was very disappointed. The plan accelerated me to week 3 immediately based on my ability, but then it didn't ask if I was ready to start. The interface was pretty confusing and low res, a crude effort overall. Considering how simple a trainer the 100 push ups program is it wouldn't have taken much to have polished the details of the app

Great little app!
Granted the UI might be a bit confusing but hey it won't hurt the app or anything else to press a few buttons and find out what they do, you'll be doing push-ups in no time! 1728 total so far up to 206/day starting at 50 a month ago.
