An app for beginners to learn the proper recitation of the Holy Quran.
Learning to, firstly, recite and then understanding the Quran was a practice that was carried under supervision of maulams. However with the geographical spread and the logistics involved, this teaching practice has evolved to become limited to parents teaching their children or resorting to paper versions of Qaidas. Where both methods are an alternative to guided teaching, the audio talafuz/tajweed is compromised the most.
To fill that 'void' and using the portability, reach, multimedia capabilities and wide acceptability of the iPad, 'Qaida Noorania' is an 'app' for that!
This Qaida Noorania application features include:
• Bilingual recitation in Urdu / Arabic (zabar,zeer,pesh / fatheh,kasra,dumah)

• 1078 text buttons (individual letters - aggregated words)

Accurate!
This app is THE best app for learning to read the Qur'an. It even supports urdu. It is based on the standard qaida noorania, that is used widely in the indian sub-continent. Offers clear audio of every word, letter-by-letter. Also offers a quiz feature, which really helps. Highly recommended!!

Asalamualaikum, I hate to rate this poorly as it was executed nicely and works well...but the Arabic reciter is a small child. Why don't you use the correct audio from the original noorania? I feel like I wasted my money because I thought this would be the relating that I use to practice at home. Also, why is there even an Urdu version? The Quran is in Arabic! I will revise this rating if the Arabic reciter is replaced with the proper one from the original CD or at least an adult. Find someone with a good ijazza and update it please.

Excellent tutor
Excellent tutor app for kids and children alike. Good depth and breadth in terms of coverage. Has a tutor mode with a quiz for children to learn and parents to monitor. Could be a replacement for Skype Qaida teachers.
