it wont register a name,
QCPR classroom
Unlike QCPR instructor, QCPR classroom always shows all twenty boxes on the screen. QCPR instructor will only show the number manikin that is connected to the app so randomly numbered manikins are not an issue The problem with having all of the boxes all of the time is that in cases of a facility that may have up to 100 manikins. if the numbers being used are not sequential from 1-100, there will be a scattering of blocks used if only random numbers are used for that session rather that only manikins numbered 1-20 etc.
ROLES-LLC.,
I need tech support
This app was working great before the iPhone update.
Chnoubis,
A useless app for Instructors
Does NOT show real time feedback. Gives you a vague “percentage score”, and even that only shows up after the practice session is overwith. Seems to be indicating which part of the student’s performance was the worst, but doesn’t give any details.
cookr8888,
Not working
I have been trying for a while and I cannot get a manikin to even connect to the app. The other app the manikins connect super quickly… I was expecting the same response with this app. Not usable currently
CoryJ7,
Recent update broke the CPR race!
After the recent update, the CPR Race is worthless! Some ambulances don’t move, some take forever to move, and the percentages are awful. Please fix ASAP. my students loved it.
annecaz,
Real Time Feedback -missing
The CPR metrics display after practice but not during. Rate, depth, and recoil do not display during practice.
Dguv,
Update. Complete waste of money.
Update11/2020. After not using this for over a year because it was unusable, I went back to see what changes they made. Well they made it worse. So the minimum number of boxes is 20 even if you only have 10 students. That’s annoying but not the worst of it.

There’s no way to set a time limit for the scenario like the standard 2 minutes like you can on the QCPR Training app.

Now the skills aren’t being reported with any level of accuracy. I scored a 97% by doing 10 compressions (too shallow) and 5 breaths (over inflating the manakin every time) for 5 cycles. It showed green the whole time , even when I stopped everything all together for a few minutes and went back to it with 10 bad compressions and 5 bad breaths. The lung feature doesn’t even register at all. But it still showed green and then gave me 97%.

We spent over $2,000 to replace the skins and install sensors in all our Annie and it’s all worthless with this software. I’d really like Laerdal to fix this so we can use it.

To add insult to injury there’s a Developer response at the end of this that asks me to copy and send this review to their team to review the issues. What? Instead of taking the time to tell me to copy and email this, why didn’t they just do that themselves? Way to not pass the buck, but just completely drop the ball.

I wish they would consult with instructors. Any instructor with experience will tell you the most important thing for the students to see is the speedometer, which is still the smallest thing on the screen. The depth gauge is important but it could be half as wide and still just as effective. The speedometer needs to dominate the screen.
QCPR Classroom is better than QCPR Instructor in two respects, you can have your tablet sideways to maximize TV screen space and you can have more than 6 active manikins. However it’s a complete failure because you can’t have any less then 20 active windows even if you only have 8 manikins being used. That’s 12 extra windows taking up space on the screen. That’s ridiculous.
The idea that you would need to be showing 100 manikins feedback all at the same time is idiotic. In what universe would any agency be able to teach an AHA approved 100 person class and have all 100 students be able to pick out their manikins window and follow along with class and que off the feedback from their little window. Even if it’s projected it will be unusable. Not to mention the frequency the manikins disconnect from the tablets Bluetooth when you stop practice to discuss skills. Imagine how long it will take to connect all 100 manikins to one tablet and keep them connected. A 100 person class would require at least 17 instructors and one full time tablet/manikin technician. This feature was not designed by an instructor.
So in short it’s still not even close to ideal for CPR training.
If they put priority into developing this to customize student numbers, and emphasize skill development (bigger speedometer) rather than volume of students, they will have a good app.
