The QiFood App gives you details about the properties and effects of aliments according to the traditional chinese nutrition. Handy app
Good for quick look ups. Full version was the best deal to get the most food choices. Search engines could be better.

I use this app in conjunction with my acupuncturist's guidance. Indispensable tool. So helpful. Very glad someone thought to create this app, it makes my life so much easier as far as hot/warm/neutral versus cool/cold food choices. Thank you!

It will allow you to navigate but when you select a food(which is in bold- meaning available to view in the free version) it closes the app. Why would would I trust the app designers enough to pay money for the regular version when they can't prove to me they are capable of designing a functional application.

Mixed Feelings
I do not have the same issues with the app crashing. The app does what I want it to, but I am concerned about how accurate it is, since when I try to cross reference what it says, with what I find online, it rarely matches up.

The very basic app gives you only a few options but shows you a lot more. To get the rest you have to buy the pay for the pro app. The basic app is also takes up a lot of space considering how little it does.

Good for the novice, the near novice,too. It allows notes so one can write their own observations.

Don't make in-app purchases because the. You get pop-up ads. And for the price of each category, you might as well go with the Pro version, but they don't give you that option.
