Turn your iPhone/iPod touch into a futuristic scanning device! Has three scanning modes, with animated graphics and sound effects! No sci-fi fan should be without it!
If you have a phaser and a communicator, then all you need is Quadcorder and you will be set to explore the galaxy!

To access the other animations, press the Library AB button once. Then press one of the DEVICE INPUT buttons that is not currently active.

Yeah, yeah. I am sorry. This fell through the cracks.
To make it up to you, I have added:
- Support for devices up to iPhone 6+.
- 7 New Sounds added
- New Buttons for those with bigger screen.
- New F1/F2 Mode
- Background sound can be turned on/off in-app by tapping the speaker near the EMRG button.
- More LEDs
- New icon
Things that went away.
- Old scanning GUI (The one from the very first version)
- Pressing the Library button, only plays a sound. You now cycle through the screens by tapping each GEO MET BIO button again.
- Real world stuff. (GPS, Decibel, Magnetic Scanning). Those screens are still there they just display random numbers now.
If you don't see something, it's probably because you have a phone with a smaller size. The new buttons / sounds / etc are for iPhone 5s and up. I wanted to fill up the space, so instead of making the buttons bigger, I added more.

Very amusing fake application
I’ve used this application to make a point on a few occasions, including to several years ago when I proved to my 8 year-old daughter that I could detect how many cookies she ate. Two problems exist with its use on OS15: (1) Emergency function no longer launches count animation and (2) there is no sound and nothing to adjust under Settings.

Still the Best and Most Fun!
I have used this app for years, have had great fun with it, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I have spoofed people, played games with it, and just plain relaxed with it. The setup is colorful, active, realistic, and has a variety of functions. There are no sound issues. Just remember to turn off your silence setting on your phone or other device and make sure that the sound icon on the app is green. If it is red, just touch the setting to change it. While it is always possible to add real-life functions to the buttons, the virtual functions are quite entertaining. I have spoofed a fair number of people with this app and enjoyed quite a number of laughs. This app is great, entertaining, fun, and very well done. Great thanks to the developer for designing and maintaining it!

Fun tricorder app
It has one bug that kept me from giving it 5 stars. The emergency data upload button no longer shows the upload video/animation. Otherwise everything else works.

Still good today!!
I still use this app all these years later! It’s an amazing app and the only thing it needs is a phone case that looks like a “Quadcorder” back! All the sounds are perfect and the different functions use the actual sensors in the phone to give you somewhat relevant values. Worth every penny!

As a kid I always wanted to have one but they were to expensive for me. Now for 1.99 you can have a even better one lol. I just had to have it. I had to gift my inner child in me.

Not Bad. Pretty Sounds, No Function
Geek squee achieved. Worth a buck. Wish there were more Star Trek apps out there.
Oh and there is a button to enable sounds just to the left of the EMRG button. Looks like a speaker.

Best Next Gen Tridorder Yet
A wonderful app, looks, sounds and feels authentic. CBS did a great job with the Communicator and the PADD, but this is the only Tricorder worth its name. Grab a Phaser and you're ready for the away team.

Best Tricorder App
I e had this on my phone for years now. Hands down, it’s the best Tricorder app. Sounds and graphics. It’s fun to play with.

Does nothing
At least most of the other tricorder apps have the LCARS look and some functionality, this has neither. Also comes muted and only plays if you unmute it with the speaker icon next to the emergency button. Sadly, pretty useless. Doesn't even have a good LCARS look for wallpapers
