Quickly view your Hennepin County Library Account
- Saves your barcode and pin, no need to re-enter every time you run the app.
- Scan the barcode in the app to checkout books at the library
- View your current items out and due dates.
- View items currently being held at the library and when they expire.
- View items that you've requested and view your place in line.

Great 3rd party replacement for the old app
Hennepin County has a great library system, and they used to have a pretty good app to check out books and monitor requests, but it was eventually removed from the App Store. Now we have a 3rd party alternative, which is a slightly more limited, but also considerably faster to use if you just want to check when your books have arrived or when the checked out ones are due. The best part is that it doesn’t require you to sign in every time you open it. For those complaining that you can’t reserve or extend books through the app, just use the link to the mobile website in the app if you need to do something more complicated. Thanks so much for creating this, and please continue to support it as long as you are able to do so!

“Updating” but doesn’t work
This app does not work at all. It just says “Updating...” and then it never updates or does anything. I have to go to the hclib website directly in order to look anything up.

Can’t add it to my phone
I don’t like the Libby App; I can’t make it pick up my HCLib info; it just lets me select book. I can’t seem to get the HCLIB app to appear on my phone.

Update needed
I have been using this app for years and love it! It has been great to be able to use as a quick way to check what I have checked out. Also since your most recent update of being able to renew in the app is a great update. It has saved me many a day
⭐️ Unfortunately the library just rolled out a new site or addition to their site. Now when I log into the app is says that my requests, holds and books checked out all say NONE. Untrue! Have a long list on all.
Please update this so I can use it again. There are just a few apps I use everyday and this is one of them. It has been less than 24 hours since I have not been able to use it.😞. Thank you in advance

Hope this isn't a replacement for existing app. There is no search capability, just a view of your account. The existing app says it won't work past June 30, 2015. What's the deal, HCLIB.

Horrible app
I had the old app on my old phone. Really miss that app. You could at the very least add a search option and "my lists"
