We have been hard at work on this Quick Math update. In fact we haven't left the office in about 6 months. It is really starting to smell in here...
It's all been worth it though as we have a raft of great new features for you!
- Greatly improved handwriting recognition! We have been working hard on increasing the accuracy of our handwriting recognition. We think we have done it but we will leave that up to you to judge. I will say that we have all broken our personal bests in the office and we hope you do too.
- New EXTREME mode of difficulty, seriously who enjoys this stuff? I can't even finish it. But you requested it!
- You get a leaderboard, and you get a leaderboard! We added a Game Centre leaderboard for every mode and every difficulty. There are countless new records to set so what are you waiting for?
- Many tweaks and adjustments to smoothen your game play experience.
We have some exciting new features just off the horizon so stay tuned for more updates.

For all you lucky people with iPhone 5s we have increased your vertical writing area so that your super tall characters will fit more easily.
We've also polished and refined some weird oversights (congratulations if you found them) so that your math experience will be more pleasing.

Handwriting and feedback great
I think including handwriting makes this the best times table app for building "automaticity" (subtitizing, quick mental calculations,etc) in arithmetic.
But I miss the three stars to fill in at each level that you see in Quick Math +
That feature makes kids go back in and repeat each level until they achieve some kind of mastery. In this Quick Math version there is no feedback on when you have mastered a level: "beginner, intermediate, etc."

Awesome!!!
I was (still kinda am) really struggling in math areas in school. The reason I was struggling was because I didn't know my multiplication tables. This app is great because it shows you your progress and really challenges you. With the quick flash card things, I am starting to be really good at multiplication. I would definitely recommend this to a child of any age because there are different levels. For example, beginner, intermediate, and so on. They also have addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There is even one where they put all of them together. I really enjoy this app and I think you will to, because it made math so easy for me.

*** FABULOUS *** Life changing for 6th grade boy
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! My son hated Math to tears because he couldn't memorize his math facts!!! I'm a professional elementary teacher and even with all my methods, tricks & ideas, I couldn't get him to master his facts. I even homeschool him & working with him everyday. He has intense ADHD & low short-term memory (aka low "working memory").
THIS MATH game has changed our daily lives!!! He is zipping through his math facts and LOVES raising his score & spending up his time!
I really like that he has to write out the answer rather then just clicking on an answer. The kinesthetic touch adds one more dimension.

My kid actually LIKES it!
Great app! My kid (11) likes playing with this and seeing the best time he can get. He also likes to challenge us, his parents, to see how close he can come to our times. My husband enjoys the highest level to challenge himself and keep his mind sharp.
Please make it easier to see whose profile you are playing under and easier to change between the profiles. Maybe before it counts down to start it could ask, "Play as (profile_name)?" with a "yes" and a "change" button as options.
So much better than flash cards.

Needs Updating ASAP!!
This app used to be awesome. So Awesome that I purchased the 4 pack. But now that my phone updated itself to iOS 11, it does not work st all!! So I attempted to download the Quick Math app (the Blue original one) and restore my purchases and it refused!! It wants s me to pay for each of the apps separately in order to use them. If each app is updated to work w iOS 11, why isn’t the 4 pack updated to work w it as well? I thought this company was better than others and wasn’t a scam. I’m seeing that it’s not!! I have attempted to contact the developer directly but there is no way to do so. Thus, I am giving a poor review. If the developer updates the 4 pack, I will gladly update my review to a positive one. Otherwise this review will stand.

I love Quick Math, I think it is a wonderful app and really helps me with math in school! I'm so glad I got this app!! It's a great learning tool for kids who could have trouble with math. This app helps with people who need to get faster on Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division!! It times you to see how much you've improved from the last time who have used it!! Please get this app and at least try it out!! Remember, if you don't like the app, since it's free you can always delete it!!

Would give 5 stars, but needs update
My family has loved this app. The advantage we feel is gives is using your finger to write the answer - it helps make connections in a multi sensory way that no other math fact app that I have found. We also find the graphics appealing - not too crazy with all sorts of images or sounds. Each family member gets their own avatar & scores.
Unfortunately- Shiny Things has not come out with an updated version to work with iOS 11 & now it does not work.

AWESOME APP! Developed my mental reflexes
It is a great way to learn that one takes certain arithmetic operations for granted. It pushed me to think fast and smarter in coming up with answers. When you are doing calculations on your own time it is easy but under the pressure of time, it gets a little tricky. This app trains your memory muscle and hand eye coordination reflexes. Do this everyday and you will be impressed with how much your mental computing power has improved.

It Keeps Your Mind Sharp!
It seems so easy, but it is really challenging! You are racing the clock to beat your last score and you have to write the numerals clearly at the same time. It teaches you to be quick, but also to be careful, because the game won't accept illegible answers. It would be great for children too, because it would help them learn how to handle pressure.

I love this app, I think it’s great. The app is fun, educational, and makes you want to push harder to do the problems in less time! The only thing is, I haven’t been able to do it for a while because my iPad says the developer needs to update it for iOS 11. So other than that I really do enjoy it, I hope you will too!
