Quit it is now available for Apple Watch.

Quit It is a tiny motivating program, supporting and encouraging smokers to quit smoking and helping ex-smokers to stay quit.

It keeps track of the cigarettes you did not smoke and how much money you are saving. Furthermore it shows the benefits of quitting as text and calculates a nice ranking for you.

This update adds one of the most requested features: if you slipped and smoked but only had one cigarette, you can log it now in the app with date and comment. Smoking one cigarette doesn't mean you've relapsed but be aware that this could be a dangerous feature for your mindset. Make sure to read the hints within the app.

Improved today widget refresh after changing one or more goals.

There were a lot of complaints about the new (sequential) calculation of the goals in the last update. This time you can choose in settings if you want to calculate the goals simultaneously (more motivating) or sequential (more realistic).

This app is an amazing motivator!
I started smoking at age 40 and smoked for 20 years. And the problem with quitting was I loved to smoke. But, I realized for my health - I HAD TO STOP. After many failed attempts, I decided this had to be it. So, I determined my quit date to be one that I could easily remember, and celebrate - July 4th. I am now over 10 months quit, without a single slip - thanks to QuitIt! Any time I thought about picking up a cigarette, I clicked on the app to see my progress. This app is an amazing motivator, and I have referred many friends to it. I hope everyone has success in their quit journey, and know you can feel so much better—as I do.

#1 helper for me to quit smoking
Every time I got an urge to smoke, even now 6 weeks later, I would look at this app see my progress, relate to how much better I feel as a non smoker and in that timeframe my urges would go away. After day 4 it started to get a lot easier and with this app by my side and a glass of pineapple juice in the morning I was able to do it. 6 weeks in and I purchased the full version today just because the makers of this app deserves the money for saving my life and money. Thank you Quit It!!!!

I appreciate this app since it lets you choose how you see the time passed, how many cigs you’ve not smoked, and how much money you save. My favorite feature? The health benefits as you get further and further away from your last cigarette. It’s nice that this app doesn’t just count time and cigarettes. I don’t use the Goals feature, but I think that could be beneficial to some people. No ads? No cost? Fantastic!

Great App
So helpful to actually see progress, money saved and especially the number of cigarettes NOT smoked. It's a different perspective when you realize 7 cigarettes a day (not that bad, right?) is actually 60 (!) in under 9 days!!! The money savings is pretty powerful too. Monthly cost adds up to a massage membership which is a lot better for me than smoking! (I smoked American Spirits, organic-super pricy).

I find myself checking this app at least several times daily. I have made it 9 days and saved 45 dollars. I like the progression and don’t want to start over. Feels like I actually loose something. I have been trying to quit for years and it feels like this time I may be successful

I Quit!
I have attempted smoking cessation for 50 years. I downloaded this app with very little faith that it could help me quit. However, the information it provides is positive, let’s me view what health stage I am at and offers positive support by informing me how much time has lapsed since my last cigarette. So far, I have not smoke for two years and two months. Thank you!

It did help me finally quit
I had tried this app along with a few different smoking cessation methods over the last three years. I don’t think I could have quit with just this app, but it definitely helped me along the way. I’m 24 days smoke free, which is the longest I’ve been without a cigarette in about 23 years.

This is an excellent tool specifically for individuals who like to see progress. Turning to check an app for the amount of time you haven't smoked instead of reaching for another cigarette is quite a feeling. I highly recommend this app for anyone who has even thought of quitting smoking, you know for when you're ready to quit.
