GAME MODI
You want more than just a quiz? Here you go! Five different game modes provide variety and long-term motivation. No connection? No Facebook? No problem! Quizoid can be played completely offline and without any social media logins.
"CLASSIC"
This mode is also known from the TV of "Who wants to be a millionaire". You play until you get the first answer wrong. Right answers count.
"20 QUESTIONS"
Lean back and relax. The game always gives you 20 questions, even if you are wrong in between. Your average from all games in this mode will be evaluated. So if you are 5 times right in the first game and 10 times right in the second, your score will be 7.5. The goal is to get as close to 20 points as possible.
"ARCADE"
Also known as "Against the Clock". In 60 seconds you have to correctly answer as many questions as possible. The more you complete, the higher your score. Wrong answers don't count, but they don't mean game over. There are no lifelines here, because what counts is speed and good general knowledge.
"CATEGORIES"
The desired mode of many players, available only in the Pro version. You choose your favorite categories at the beginning. Only these knowledge areas will appear in the quiz. The rest of the game is the same as in Classic Mode. There are no highscores here.
"PRO"
For all those who either like it a little easier, or for those for whom it can't be hard enough, there is the Pro mode. Also only available in the Pro version, it allows you to choose between 3 different difficulty levels. On "Easy" level you only play quiz questions of levels 1 to 3, with "Moderate" in the level range 2-4 and on "Pro" you only get the highest levels 5 and 6. The gameplay and highscore are the same as in Classic Mode.
JOKER
What would a quiz be without lifelines? Quizoid offers you four of them. The well-known 50/50 erases two wrong answers. The two-attempt joker allows you to answer twice. With the question-exchange joker, you can exchange the current question for another one from a category of your choice. The Tip Joker becomes available as soon as you reach the most difficult levels. It shows you a tip for the current question.
LOCALISATION
You come from UK and don't care about US politics questions? No problem. Just activate the option "Localization" in the settings and you won't see any US-specific quiz questions anymore! However, questions about global general knowledge will remain.
STATISTICS
In the statistics screen you can see your knowledge progress per knowledge area. The percentage of correctly answered questions out of all quiz questions played is scored.

I added a button to restore inApp-purchases. If you bought a question pack and/or the no-ads option in the previous version, you will be able to play with all questions and/or ad-free in this version as well.
I also improved the Voice Over support. It's still not perfect but I hope the game is now easier to use for the visually impaired. If you find any shortcomings or errors, please let me know.

Great trivia knowledge-based game
Great game. You can play alone or with others. You can keep track of your score or ignore the scoring system. For each question posed, you choose one answer from the four options you are given. Questions have various levels of difficulty and involve different popular cultural areas and many academic disciplines. Challenging and fun. Have been looking for a game like this.

I am a pretty smart guy. I have been around for a while and I have learned a lot living for as long as I have.
This game is definitely a challenging trivia game. The difficulty of answering questions correctly increases exponentially. If I were to graph that increase in difficulty it would look as though the y-axis was consistently shifting to the right as one zoomed out.
The leaderboards are ridiculous. If you want to just look up the answers to questions then you might be able to catch up with those who have somehow earned many millions of points. If not for the fact that it is impossible to legitimately chip away at the leaderboards in any meaningful way I would give this game five stars.
Regardless it is fun being challenged and it is fun learning new stuff as you work your way through a handful of levels

Gotta to know!
I love this game , I haved learned so much from just playing it in a few short weeks, stuff I don’t accept I look up and it’s always right. Wish I could just stick to one theme for a while see how high my score would go, I kinda mess up on chemistry and geography , anyway loads of fun!!

Great little trivia tool
I do like this app, and it does have great trivia questions. There have been a few duplicates if I play more than ten or so games, I've noticed, but not often. I hope there are additional questions that are updated on a regular basis. I do sort of like the idea if you missed the answer without using one of the three clue options, you are DONE. Lol. Makes it more challenging.

Fun and fully accessible.
I really enjoy the trivia questions and can easily become sidetracked for long periods of time.
What I appreciate most though, is the apps ease-of-use and complete accessibility for voiceover users.

No frills just good questions
Good questions basic gameplay, I like the lack of time limit so you can play in a group w family and have time to read the questions etc

Challenging and enjoyable—one flaw
I really, really wish they would make it so that you could change the screen layout orientation so I could more easily play this with my husband on our iPad while it’s set on the table. Not everyone plays this on an iPhone. It’s a small thing, but it’d be soooo helpful!

Great General Trivia App
This app is simple to use and I like the way questions get harder as you go along. I also like that you don't have to compete with others of you don't want. Please, please, please add the Arcade & 20 Questions game options to IOS platform. I recently switched to iPhone and really miss those games!!

Quizoid is a fun way to pass time
This is a great game to play when you are waiting in line or for an appointment and you just might learn something. Fully accessible to blind and low vision players using VoiceOver.

Disappointed
Quizoid has gotten ridiculously difficult since the update. And I hate that high scores are no longer recorded. This game used to be 5 stars. I do not recommend.
