Unfortunately, our old domain name registration expired and the domain name was snapped up by a malicious party and is being held ransom. We have switched to a new domain (quranmem.com) so that our privacy policies and terms and conditions are visible to everyone. Since the domain only hosted a marketing page describing this app (as well as the privacy policy and T&C) we will not try to buy it back, and switched over to a new domain name. No data was ever at risk, just the domain name. Since we don't collect any data from you, no private data was ever at risk. Thank you for your understanding.

The big update in this version is that you can now choose from 26 additional reciters. You don't even need to download the entire Qur'an's audio files at a time. You can download just the Chapter you're studying. This will help you manage the storage space on your device. You can also sample audio from the different reciters before downloading a chapter, and you can delete audio files if you want to reclaim storage space on your device. Just keep an eye on your connection. You probably should not download large files when on a cellular connection, but do so when connected via Wi-Fi.

Other changes include:
• We now highlight the matching text in search results
• The "Help" button has moved to the Settings screen. In its place is the "Auto Play" button. This was done because if you're like me, you'll use "Auto Play" all the time, and want to access it quickly.
• A very subtle shadow was added to the page under the page that's being turned. You probably won't notice it unless you look for it, but it makes the book appear more realistic.
• Some people didn't realize that you could navigate to a page, chapter or part by tapping on the displays in the panel under the book. That's my fault for not making those buttons look like buttons. So now, those buttons have borders, so you know that you can tap on them.

Several bugs have been fixed in this version
• Navigating to Surah Taubah (and verse 0 of the surah) caused a crash - Surah Taubah is the only Surah that does not start with "Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem"
• The translation of verses in Surah Taubah was off by one verse.
• Autorotation sometimes didn't work
• On the iPhone in portrait mode, panning the book didn't follow the finger closely.

Bug fixes
Deleting a note or playing an audio loop that contained the first verse of Surah Fatiha caused the app to crash. Also, the startup screen did not display properly when the app started in Landscape mode on the iPad. These bugs have been fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience these bugs may have caused you.

Improvements based on your feedback
• The Surah name now includes the Surah number
• The default start and end verse of the Audio Loop is now set to the current verse
• The Chapter and Page and Part pickers also default to the current verse, page or part.

• You can rearrange the list of bookmarks and notes by tapping the "Edit" button on the upper right and dragging the items into their new location.

• When you're selecting a Surah from the Surah list, you can now optionally select an Ayah, to jump directly to that Ayah.

• When an Ayah is highlighted, you can get rid of the highlight by performing a long-tap anywhere on the page. That is, tapping and keeping your finger pressed down for at least 0.75 seconds (three quarters of a second).

• When you start an Audio Loop, the audio loop defaults to the first Ayah on the page you are on.

Removed the 'Rate this App' functionality.

We found a bug in the app where going to "Rate this App" caused the app to crash repeatedly.

This new release fixes that problem.

• Modified page turning animation to make it smoother

• iPad: To get to the toolbars you must now tap on the 'Gears' icons that show up on the outer sides of the pages.

The database was missing translations for the following Chapters (Surahs): Aal-Imran, Ma'ida, Ibrahim, Nahl, Mulk and 'Alaq. This version adds the missing translations.
