My favorite thing about this app is the trivia, as the games are actually fun to complete. It’s addictive to be honest and I love the sound effects. Leaving the reviews after answering all the questions is cool but it also unlocks a discussion forum for the movie which I think is an even better feature. I try hard to get a perfect score for my all time favorite films cause the app also gives you level badges on how well you did answering the questions. There could be more movies but the ratings that are there I know are usually much more accurate and honest than something like a rotten tomatoes where there can be blaring inconsistencies on some movies in terms of critics and audience scores. Keep on developing and improving the app and library of movies and this will do great!

Trolls destroy movies’ Rotten Tomatoes scores with bots before they even come out. Racists, misogynists, and generic misanthropes skew scores so badly the previously useful idea of aggregate review by plebiscite becomes non-functional.

... especially those that like to leave reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB, Letterboxd and others. It’s got an innovative premise — only those that pass a movie trivia quiz can leave reviews. To avoid people gaming the system, you are locked out of reviewing a movie if you don’t pass for a short while. So you actually have to have really seen the movie to review it. And the quiz element is addictive. It’s got an easy-to-use, professional interface. It will get even better as its movie database grows.

See, I really enjoyed this app at first. The layout is simple and easy and the quizzes are a lot of fun! Except when they’re not. Most of the time they’re pretty hard but possible. However sometimes they’re nearly impossible and some of the questions are so obscure that not even watching the film right before the quiz will help you. It’s also really a little too quick. The last thing I have to say about this is that this app ( this really killed it for me ) is that it is missing so many classic movies. I could not find Karate kid, Cars, Sixteen Candles, The Outsiders, Hidden Figures, or any fast and furious movie past number 5. Despite all of these minor problems I think this this is a great app and could be even better if these minor changes were made.

I absolutely love the idea of this app, but it definitely can use some improvements. One major concern is that the quizzes are so specific they come off as movie trivia for major fans instead of a litmus test to ensure a reviewer has seen a movie. They can also be poorly worded or have incorrect information in them! Another issue is that every movie needs to have a hand-created test before it’s available on their system. None of my favorite movies were on the system and, to be honest, I never expect them to be!

The systems behind rating, quizzes, and profiles are all well designed and work well in my opinion and with some tweaks I believe this app can really go far!

I love the app but I have a problem when i Qurated for the film Wonder Woman as i was putting down my rating and review for the film my phone died and because of this I cannot place a review for the film because it says you’re already qurated is there a fix for this problem ?

The Qurator app combines film knowledge, social media, and message board discussions by real film fans.
