Install R-Cast channel in your Roku and install this R-Cast app in your iOS device. Once you connect the devices to the same Wi-Fi network, this app will detect your Roku devices.
Please note that not all videos can be cast, including HTTPS videos, live streams, etc. Videos in the web that are not in high definition, might not look the same on your HD TV as they look in a small screen. If the video website already has a Roku channel, please use its channel.
YouTube videos in HTTPS will not cast, please use the YouTube app. If you see R-Cast channel load the video and return to the home screen it is usually because of incompatible video format. Roku doesn't play all video formats that play in iOS devices.
You will only be able to cast online videos from webpages and not the videos stored in your device.
Quick Start:
• Install R-Cast channel in your Roku device: https://owner.roku.com/add/rcast
• Install this R-Cast app in your iOS device
• Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device
• This app will detect Roku devices in your network
• Add your Roku manually using its IP Address if it is not detected automatically
• Browse the web for your favorite entertainment in this app
• Play the videos to launch the cast menu
• Select the Roku device to cast and voila!
• Enjoy videos on the big screen!!
Upgrade to R-Cast Radical Edition (in-app purchase) to watch videos longer than 10 minutes and resume previous video casts. The upgrade removes the ads at the bottom of the browser. It doesn't remove the ads hosted by the websites you visit.
Please make sure the websites you frequently use work in R-Cast before upgrading to the Radical Edition. R-Cast channel only works with R-Cast app.

Poor streaming
I can hook my computer up directly to my tv and it streams fine but streaming a live via R-cast is frustrating as it keeps having to reload. So what I see on device gradually gets further and further ahead of what I see on the coasted tv. The goal was to free up my computer so I could work while watching this live stream but now I've paid for something that isn't working for me.

Don't uninstall once you've paid
Paid for this service, worked okay and only intermittently experienced problems. The real problem occurred when I began getting annoying pop ups and uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now I'm being told you pay again. I guess it was good while it lasted but not so great I'm going to pay for it again. Update : was able to get service reinstalled. Emailed support and and response time was fast. Thanks.

Works. But major "upgrade" cash scam
I got the app to try it out and dumped 3$ to get the upgraded version (which is needed for the app to work).worked fine. HOWEVER THE UPGRADE IS ONLY FOR THE APP YOU PURCHASED IT ON. DO NOT DELETE THE APP! AND MAKE SURE TO UPGRADE ON THE DEVICE YOU PLAN TO USE THE APP ON! As you will have to repurchase the "upgrade" for every fresh r-cast app downloaded on every device. There are even reports of having to repurchase the upgrade after a update or even randomly. It's borderline scam-ish. If you can, try and find a free alternative. And heed my warning of not deleting the app and making sure you upgrade on the device you wish to use the app the most on!

The application is great but if you could add tabs that would be great because I cannot help but accidentally click an advertisement and then I’m brought to a new page and have no way of returning to where I was previously at without restarting or accidentally starting an advertisement again

App DOESN’T Work!
I installed this app to my iPhone as I’m trying to stream video from there to my Roku-4 where both are on the same network (only network available). Both devices are connected to network but this app cannot see the Roku. I’ve done everything I can to troubleshoot this, including manually entering the name and IP address of the Roku box and the app keeps saying ‘not found’! Don’t wast your time OR MONEY, on this app. If a free or trial version doesn’t work, don’t even be scammed into thinking an upgrade will fix the problem.

Full version is perfect!
Love this app! I use it to cast Digital Theatre productions from my phone. It's perfect! It connected quickly (using the Roku's ip address) and it's streaming without any issues. It allows me to control the video with my Roku remote. Try it out first to make sure it works for you, then buy the full version for $3!

Not too bad
I have used this app for some time now and overall I love it. The only issue I have is that every so often certain sites don’t work. When I say don’t work, I mean when I enter the site the app shuts down. This time, so far, it’s been a week with the issue, but overall I like the app. Just wish it didn’t have these periods of shut down.

Great app. As long as I don't forget to sign in if works perfect. If I forget it starts to lag! Love this app to throw programs on my big screen. Husband been sick and now we can join church when he has to stay home. Paid for the full app.

Needs work
App works to an extent. Most sites crash upon clicking something. It seems to crash a lot when searching google as well. (I have to go on safari and copy a link and paste it in the app just to go to certain videos) when you do end up getting the video to play it does work fine. Fix those issues and the app will be fine.

Awesome.
I have had no issues with the performance or reliability of this app. The only thing I ask is that you make it so you can rename your roku devices so you don't have to memorize serial numbers.
