Description
This is a phonics based game for older children who struggle with reading and may have dyslexia. This game will give the child practice in identifying the 'r' controlled vowels, such as 'ar', 'or', and 'er', 'ir', and 'ur'. Often, games at this phonics level are created for young children, this game is for those that are age 7+.
The child will identify the 'r' controlled vowel sound in a word that is called out, (s)he will blow up the asteroid with the corresponding sound. An alien spaceship and an asteroid shower will come along to try and destroy the player's ship, so (s)he better watch out!
