Finding something good to watch is getting harder and harder. More content means more great entertainment, but it also means lots more to sift through to find something good. R8 allows you to easily get streaming recommendations from your friends and share your recommendations with them.
Unlike other apps, we don't pull in random recommendations from strangers. You'll only see recommendations from compatible users you follow...usually your friends ;) And...recommendations are intelligently generated simply by liking and disliking movies and shows in the app!
With R8, you will:
1. Get intelligent recommendations based on your likes / dislikes and those of your friends
2. Find out what service a show is streaming on and filter all results by only the services you have
3. Maintain a universal watchlist across all your streaming services
4. See what your friends think of a movie or show before investing your time
5. Get the conversation going with comments and chat with your friends about a movie or show

We've added more ways to personalize your R8 account!
- Add your streaming services to make it easy to filter your lists by only the services you have.
- Tell your friends and followers more about you by updating your profile to include links to your social accounts and a brief bio.
We've also made lots of minor bug fixes and feature improvements.

In this update, we've made it even easier to get great recommendations from your friends! We've added a "Match Score" that will show how your tastes match up with your friends and followers. The Home screen has been completely updated to show only the top matches based on this Match Score. It's also much easier to filter this list now.
The rating system has also been updated to reflect how users have been using it to react to their favorite content. The options are simplified to "Like", "Okay", and "Dislike". We think this will make it easier and more accurate when providing recommendations to your friends.

We've added more ways for you to engage with your friends about the movies and shows you're watching!
With Conversations, you can message back and forth with one friend or all of your friends at once. Recommend a specific movie by mentioning your friend in a comment. Ask your friends if a specific show is worth investing your time into. Tell your friends what you thought of the latest episode of a show.
With Reviews, you can give your friends a more thorough run-down of how you feel about a particular movie or show. Help them to decide if a movie or show is worth checking out.

A social streaming service
You can see what your friends like which helps with recommendations. I especially like that I can keep a list of things I want to watch and it tells me what streaming service it is available on.
