You play the role of Gracius, a gladiator battling for his life in the arena. Your opponents are no ordinary evil, but are epic boss fights whose tricky attacks will challenge even the most elite gamers. There are no ‘fodder’ enemies – its all bosses -- the most fun part of games! Beat them before they brutally beat you.
Armed with your magical war hammer and a trusty shield, you must exploit their weaknesses by jumping, dodging, shield blocking, or counter-attacking with proper timing, agility, and thinking. Then unleash your rage by brutally pounding your enemy with your war hammer, and perform over-the-top combo finishers such as summoning a a vicious lightning storm or a deadly pillar of fire.

Cool and good game
It's first person combat with the dodge, block and swipe to attack gameplay. Upper half of screen horizontal swipes for weapon attack and bottom half kicks. You're allowed 5 hits after a successful dodge. You get mana for doing things like dodging and then can activate a skill combo. There is an offense, defense and magic tree, you get skill points from winning and obtain % bonuses on various things, depending where you spend points.

A Crashing Blow
This game has great potential. The graphics are wonderful, the combat is fluid and entertaining. But the game ultimately fails when it crashes in the worst possible moments.
There are many instances where the game crashes during boss battles, often right as you defeat them. The result being that you now have to fight them again, only for the game to crash...again
If you can deal with the constant crashing, then you will likely enjoy this game. If not, there are other, better games out there you can spend your time on.

It crashes
I play this game a lot because it's fun and challenging but there's one problem: at some certain points, after defeat a character and press continue, it would crash and I would have to log on on Game Center again.

Hey look I just- Aaaaand it crashed
I like the sounds of the story and the battle mechanics in this game. So why only one star you might ask? Because my option is only from the very beginning. Every time, just when I beat the first boss, the game crashes. I play on an updated iPad 3, meaning it's not my iPad, but the actual game. I'll be more than willing to give this game more stars, when it stops crashing and I can actually play. Although, I know I'm not the only one with the crashing problem and the last update was sometime in the summer. *sighs* Please fix the game, or you lose me, along with others, as players.

Frankly i just want to earn gems. But hey, you don't pursue a game if your not enjoying it right? Well, hope i'll not be disappointed to this game till it ends. Uhmmm okay 5stars to you guys. This game if fun and addicting. Please make more levels. And including at least 10 female fighters. 4 humans, 6 half human- half monster. Also, please make a sequel.

The game is good until you get to a certain point. At that point the enemies do too much unavoidable/blocking damage to even survive the full battle, that is of course unless you pay money for crystals to get good equipment.... In conclusion, this game is a yet another cleverly calculated ploy at forcing us to spend money on a game we already supposedly own...
