------------

Upheaval and chaos approaches the ancient Empire of the Raven.

In the world of Eclisse, the ruling Empire of Estellion is besieged by a scourge of embittered zealots from the swamp nation of Kaysan, erased from history by the Empire’s hubris. As the Empire struggles against nigh-endless invaders and ruthless political machinations, its heroes must fight to restore the banners of the raven… Or fall to the Scourge of Estellion.

DYNAMIC TURN-BASED COMBAT
Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion is a turn-based wargame, where strategic troop placement is essential to succeess. Battles employ a dynamic “we-go” system where the actions of allies and enemies unfold in a simultaneous battle phase. Commanders must to think ahead, anticipating all movements of their enemies instead of just reacting to them.

DOMINATE BATTLES THROUGH THE TOUCH INTERFACE
Explore a myriad of tactics at your fingertips with intuitive touch controls and unique management systems, like the Formation system: Group up to three units of a kind into a single formation, which enables special abilities and buffs to crush enemies quicker. The Standing Order system offers A.I. assisted commands that address the headaches of micro-managing the entire army every round. Use these tools to develop your own novel strategies and overcome the odds!

THE SYMPHONY OF WAR
A rousing cinematic soundtrack underscores the tension and drama that unfolds in the battlefields of RAVENMARK. Composed by Josh Whelchel, lauded for his work with Castle Story and Wind-up Knight, the music will immerse you ever deeper into the world of Eclisse!

A VAST LORE TO EXPLORE
Venture into the Codex, an in-game encyclopedia which documents the richly storied history and cultures of Eclisse. Unlock new entries as you progress through the campaigns and encounter new nations, characters, locales and more!

After installing the update, the title screen may display "NEW GAME" instead of "CONTINUE" even if you have played the game previously. YOUR SAVE DATA IS INTACT; simply hit "NEW GAME" to resume from where you left off.

Major Changes
- RAVENMARK is now Universal and will run on the iPad natively!
- RAVENMARK will now autosave at the start of every Command Phase, and at the start of every dialogue scene. The game will also autosave when you exit from a battle to the Main Menu. The Continue button in the Main Menu will continue the last autosaved game.
- The speed of the splash animations (during combat) is now adjustable in the Options menu. The splash animations can also be turned off, such that only damage and buff/debuff effects will be denoted after each combat instance.

UI Changes

- When an AI-controlled Formation is selected, a new toggle is now available to switch between either displaying their movement range or displaying their attack range; the attack range will show the maximum threshold for attacking without moving, as well as attacking after a move.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations
- Fixed an issue where the information panel for AI-controlled units would sometimes not display.

DoomFanatic95,
Classic Fantasy Warfare!
I'm currently obsessing over Warhammer, so to have something like Ravenmark, ready to go whenever I get the itch, is AWESOME! I love the look and feel of this game! It really does capture that tabletop wargame vibe, while still being visually stunning.

I think the next thing I'd like to see, either as a major update or in a sequel, would be a skirmish mode, with a variety of stipulations to choose from; in keeping with the Warhammer Fantasy Battle idea. I am not an online gamer, so Mercenaries doesn't interest me. But an offline skirmish mode would add endless replay value, if you ask me!
ChronoLegion,
An excellent tactical game with a good storyline
I’ve enjoyed playing Ravenmark since it came out. I like the tactical gameplay and the storyline, as well as some of the background lore (I wish there was more of that). The storyline and the characters draw you in, while the battles challenge you, since you have certain limitations the computer doesn’t.

I’ve played the now-defunct Ravenmark: Mercenaries as well but quickly gave up due to the focus on multiplayer at the expense of the storyline.

I strongly recommend Ravenmark: SoE to anyone who enjoys a good tactical game
Benchmaker,
LOVED THE STORY!
I thought this game was going to be boring but when I got into it I couldn't get out of it every mission brought me deeper into the plot and I loved it the turn based strategy involved was great I loved playing this game
Steelerkev,
Boring overly complex. Way too expensive
After reading all the other reviews I thought this would be the perfect game. I love turn-based strategy games. This disappointed me on every level. By the time I got to about the fourth mission I started questioning why are these overly complex controls in place for simple troop placement. This is rock paper scissors at its worst. How they can charge $10 for this and get away with it is a mystery to me.
Abe234,
Earthbound
While bereft of resource management, "Ravenmark" is a sterling addition to the tactics genre. Artistic visuals, a rousing score, and a surprisingly vibrant lore make "Scourge of Estellion" an absolute "must-purchase" for any tactics fan on iOS. Buy this game NOW!
EZPZ pls,
Superior RPG iOS title
Absolutely phenomenal with a compelling story. The writing doesn't feel dumbed down or inane like many other RPG titles out in the App Store right now.
Mr. Jo987,
Worth every penny
If you like turn-based strategy, just buy this NOW.
Williemota,
Best Strategy game for iOS
I love Ravenmark, there isn’t a better strategy game for iOS out there.
Pyrethi,
Excellent strategy game
If you loved Banner Saga, try out this game too!
Wyvernous,
Doesn't work on newer devices/softwares
I tried to play this on an iPad Mini 5 running iOS 15. The game is completely broken, with black squares appearing in a checkerboard pattern all over my screen.
