There were no settings with which to reverse the already known language & the one being learned.
It does show a “Chinese” character, but the audio pronunciations are all English, for English letters.
I was going to write the developer, but became curious to know the origin of their 2 names:
I understand that many names (i.e.: Van Gogh) may look or sound indecent in a foreign country, but usually, those with such a name will alter it slightly (when translating) to save themselves from embarrassment. You’d expect people Teaching translation to know this. (I have a neighbor from South China who’s changed her given name to Helen while in the U.S.)
It also seems suspicious that the second name, too, has some very “pronounced” American profanity. The one might have gone unnoticed, but two?
I hope the moderator is paying close attention & will look into that, given that they are making apps targeted for children.
